If this new nations cups comes into fruition, I want to know what they are going to do boost the lesser known teams financially to keep them from closing down. One positive feedback I heard was that one of the tier 2 teams had a coach funded by World Rugby.
Japan's World Cup was beyond amazing. Better than any other World Cup. The respectful nature of the Japanese people just shorn through. This WC's spectator behaviour, namely the French and English, has been deplorable. If you can't enjoy the game....keep quiet. All that booing....disgusting. 💚💛🇿🇦
I'd really like to know how the knock out rounds are going to be picked 12 teams that top the 6 pools plus the 4 best 3rd placed teams sounds like the top 16 will be a match up nightmare, should have made it 8 pools of 4, just to made it simple.
I thought this world cup was great. Pool games during the week. The podcasts were great. I just thought they should have engaged with creators who have been covering rugby like squidge rugny who have a following built in.
You have fallen well short of growing the game, providing pathways for tier 2 nations into premier competitions, global calendar etc. It’s time for new leadership and hopefully someone that isn’t from the six nations.
I would like to see more people other than RFU and big Union old boys in charge of World rugby. Why is there no relegation, because the traditional big unions are artificially trying to reinforce the status quo.
I agree 100%, but it is a bit naive to expect these big nations to just immediately compromise all the way to relegation, this is at least a step in the right direction and we need to start taking small steps. For a long time they weren't taking any steps because they wanted to take big steps and nothing happened.

make rugby a summer sport in the north. its not going to compete with football in the winter in europe and its not going to compete with any sport in america during the winter. also the ball is dry, dry track better rugby. give the players a genuine off season if youre serious about player welfare. at least 3 months. lions tour in 2 years and no doubt again a number of players will be released late as they will have commitments with their clubs. sort it out.

Gilpin your referees are the worst of all sport on the planet. Your ref in the WCup final in 1st Bledisloe Cup allowed NZ to enter rucks from the side 42 times. Then add, dive in, not support own weight, seal off, going past rucks taking out opponents, double banking in line-outs, leaving line-outs before ball is thrown in to get quicker to point from where maul is launched. NZ made more than 50 penalize able mistakes not penalized. You have appointed a scandalous cheating ref for the final who favours NZ !!!

I do think the cards to Frizzell , Cane an Siya were all rugby incidents and none of them intentional to hurt an opponent. Other to those of Scott Barrett before where he tries to injure an opponent. That is dirty play. Amazing how rhe Irish, French, Eng and NZ'ders are crying about the ref after their losses !!!
