Thanks for the video. One thing that threw me off is that the visibility of EXE and ZIP during the early part of the video. You should stress that enabling "show extension for known file types" is one of the first things a Windows user does before going on the internet and downloading anything, regardless if this program will do it for you or not. Literally takes 20 seconds to change through Explorer. Explorer->(three dots)Settings->View [tab], uncheck "hide extensions for known file types", done
One reservation I have about this "Windows 11 Fixer" is that the last release was March of 2022. Here we are in December of 2023, and there have been two major releases of Windows 11 since this program was last updated. While I think this utility has a good set of utilities included, it seems like it is abandonware. At this point, if I'm going to use a utility like this, I'll stick with the one from Chris Titus Tech.
The bonus with this sort of App, is having to often re-do your settings after an Update. Microsoft can get pretty annoying - setting things to "their" default.
Well updating Windows, they expect it to just be the defacto default with the changes you make in Setting. It sees these third-party tools as 'forcing the defaults'.
Most of these programs end up screwing Windows until the OS needs a clean install to repair the damage, looks cool but leaves a bad taste after it's done
In the eu it will already become easier soon because they have to just install English world, change your region afterwards and done you debloat more than enough that way
Thanks for the content Brian. Looks a pretty good program, think i will pass tbh, wonder how many people are crying? Dont forget to do a Restore Point People.
Seems like a decent utility. It would be great if you could move the taskbar to where-ever you wanted like in Windows 10. It seems MS is adding more crap & bloatware and taking away what people really want/use
The one thing that appears to be missing with this program and is of GREAT importance to me is the ability to place the taskbar at the top of the screen (currently using a 3rd party app to accomplish this feature). It's a logical position, since all Windows apps/programs have their menus at the top. With the taskbar at the bottom, I'm certain I'd be generating 1,000-2,000 miles a years of mouse travel. Why MS deleted the ability to customize the taskbar's position, the sane world may never know. This issue for me is the same with my MacBook Pro. And speaking of Apple, when will I be able to right-click the mouse for a Windows-like menu...that would be helpful.
I'm with you on that. I installed Win 11 on a new computer and while the install was quicker than it used to be on previous Windows versions, there was too much I didn't like about it so wiped that out and put 10 on it. Until MS gets their sh&* together I'll be staying with Win10 and Linux.
Well Brian this looks good because I do not understand a lot of those processes and am not that savvy to use the gpedit way of changing policies. Now if I use this software would there not be any way that you could use one of your disk backups that you have stored on an external hard drive?? Anyway I would not use the hard to remove section because of those issues that may occur when using that section. As for the start menu I hardly ever use it apart from shutting down my computers and have most of the apps like my browser, command prompt. regedit, settings, snipping tool, HWInfo, Notepad, Control Panel, disk clean up etc etc all pinned to my taskbar for easy access instead of having to type those apps onto the search bar. One last thing mate are those changes going to be reversed by any Windows updates that come through??
Huh....? Please do not cover any program that uses admin rights! These won't work in a corporate environment. At home I can whatever I want, but most suffering occurs on my work-laptop. I need a fix for that!
@Britec09 This utility is mainly aesthetic and miscellaneous stuff and it's ok, But for more delicate and technical stuff (really delicate sometimes) I prefer CHRIS TITUS TECH's Win DEBLOATER utility. 😜👍✌

many ways to skin a cat
One good addition to this program would be the ability to save your chosen scheme if you're having to setup multiple machines.
I think there is a user profile transfer tool out there..

Excellent point, unless it gets updated soon I would use Titus tech
Appreciate your advice. Watching from the PHILIPPINES.
Thanks for the video Brian! Handy little utility for some, not for me though, I prefer to do any install/tweaks manually.
Cheers
Yes…I feel I have more control that way…
Nice video and tutorial. Thanks for the vid Brian!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks! Great hints and helps!
In my humble opinion the Chris Titus Script is far superior in every aspect.
great little program it might be worth running it in the sandbox ( pro users ) to see if you like the changes or if it causes issues there

is there any way to undo the reverting of microsoft updates part?
nice one Brian!

Once again thanks for presenting this little gem to us
My pleasure!
How to disable telemetry and delivery optimization completely, because it is taking my bandwidth completely 😢

Is there something similar for Windows 10?
Will this work for 10 ?
Looks interesting except for the one bazillion download options form 2 years ago. Which single file do we need and what's the latest version?
Thanks Jim for the Video I will keep that in mind should I need to tweak win 11 pro
His name is Brian lol
Thanks for the content Brian. Looks a pretty good program, think i will pass tbh, wonder how many people are crying? Dont forget to do a Restore Point People.
These are always a risk, but some people will always tweak windows
I prefer to do a clean install every day bro! 😄
Sir please fix the file search problems in win 11..... Search is too slow like all other previous versions.... Its very annoying

Is this better than the Start11 program that you recommend in the past? I've been enjoying that from my purchase from Steam.
What do you think of portmaster? Privacy
Look good, video coming soon
Does the 'God mode' icon still work in windows 11 ?
yes
Good one!
Thanks!

Because the ONLY thing M$ cares about is to collect users data to be resellad.
Mine opens in full screen and i cant see the fix windows option.
Does the bloatware return when you run updates?

its not one application as you were removing apps manually
Damn, was expecting the util to be 'Format c:/u' my bad.
It’s not that easy, compatibility issue is the main one especially for commercial operations.
Denny Laine died , all the great British singers are going to start dropping off
The best utility for Windows 11 is Linux
Too risky, I'm not playing with this, I'll stick to the ones that won't break anything.
Tweaking is always risky
