You did quite a trail there, the peat bogs and forests must have been soul sucking. I did a shorter trip in Valle La Paciencia and it was tough. Do you have any idea if anyone else has done this route? I wouldn't be surprised if you were the only one.
It was hard at times, but also lots of fun. I know of one guy hiking the area in 2005, but on a different route, hiking on the shore of Lago Blanco to the southern tip of the lake, then turning west to the easier entrance to Valle Rio Paralelo, then turning south to the delta of Rio Paralelo. From there further to Puerto Arturo, but I don't know the exact route on this stretch. Good travels! 👍
@@Snafu... Any plans of going back? I've been in that area four times, mostly more to the south around Lago Fagnano, Caleta Maria and Bahia Parry. I've been thinking of coming back in winter next time, when all the swamps are frozen, ha ha. I think your route would be nice in the winter, there are lots of options to hike eays peaks for good views, if the weather is nice. Btw, did you get a permit from the Karukinka office to do this hike?
The only path in Karukinka Park leads from Lake Despreciado to Aserradero la Paciencia. The rest was without a path. In total, I was on the road for almost 20 days.
My land!!!❤️❤️👏👏👏
