- Costa Maya may be one of the absolute best ports if....iiiiifffff...there are not multiple huge ships in port! It was so packed and crowded that we had to go above ground to have some peace! hehe We decided to check out the bird aviary which included multiple rope bridges. Even though I'm terrified of birds it was a nice little adventure, and we didn't feel quite to crowded. Come along and see what there is to do in Costa Maya!

Those aviaries looked so nice (a respite from hoards of passengers wandering around the port)!
And we love Teresa’s rebel side… if it says “do not cross the red line”… cross that red line!!!!!! Fight the power!!!!✊
lol. Too funny. Laying our fears aside ( some what) to avoid the crowd was the right move.
We've never just stayed in the port area there BUT we should next time down. It's very nice. Thanks for posting!

What is the price for this? Were going at the end of May.
It was 14 dollars a person. It seemed high when we bought it but afterwards it was worth it to me. The views alone were worth it. Have a great time!
