I worked in the plantation facility, from when they opened in 1971 to 2004..
I worked with two-way production area and test lab and test engineering.

@@bigdavid1 I was in software development from 1993-2008. I worked on two-way radios, cellular phones, iDEN products ... it was a great experience.

@@ePeterso2 If I remember right it was a party for the engineering groups when iden launched for the engineering groups. I can't remember everybody's name, but all high up managers was in this video. Sam Desai wish came plant manager, I worked in the production management HT220 , mt500, MX, iden, but for the last 15+ years I was in the test engineering or test lab support for the factory for second shift..

@@bigdavid1 I started in Plantation in 1973 working for Don tuning up HT220 radios. I got into the test lab in 1974 then left the lab for development engineering in 1985 and handed my job to Don. After my big tour of 5 Motorola plants over 6 years I landed in Lakeside designing circuits for the early iDEN phones. I transferred to corporate research in 2000 and took the buyout in 2014. I moved a bit further north than Don did.
