    Watching your series day and night from last week. And now watching Home Depot Float 7 days survival. O man you wake me up and remind me the love of nature. I used to do alottt of fishing n now everything is rusty. But now I have strong plans to keep things straight.
    P.s I also had fish in dinner after watching your videos. Couldn't resist. Huge love from Pakistan.

    Zach, you should add a vent plate that you can open when cooking inside your house boat. Co2 is life threatening in those small spaces. You can have rubber gaskets to seal when the vent is closed. Another thing, you could make the front of the boat have a hatch so you can put your anchor out the front... and again you can put rubber gaskets to seal it up when closed.

      It’s Co not Co2 , Co is carbon monoxide which is lethal and Co2 is carbon dioxide. I’m a solid heating engineer so thanks for this great comment, it’s great to see people are aware of this lethal no smelling gas. Love and luck from Ireland

      The sounds are so gruesome, but it's nothing compared to how fish are treated by wild animals like bears, where they literally peel the flesh away as the fish is still alive, they do the same thing to all their prey, they pin them down and start ripping chunks out and eating it while the prey is lying their in agonizing pain, but I still dont like the throat rip, I use a knife jab to the brain

    I've watched your channel for some time now and really like your videos, but this one takes the cake. It's scary, what if you tip over in the middle of the night and are in your in the sleeping bag. It's funny as usual, and it requires so much adaptability since you either forgot so much or didn't anticipate what you would need. I think that what you are doing with your channel is great, you are not only making money for yourself, but are hiring more and more people to work with you in what seems like a fun place to work. I want to congratulate you on your marriage, which I assume is to Sarah, the best catch you could make.

    Hey Zack! First off, my wife and I would like to congratulate you on your marriage!!!
    Secondly, I have been loving this build! I would definitely add a marine fire extinguisher, life jacket etc.
    Also add a light that an be see 360 when you are tied up at night so other boaters can see you. And I agree with the others, that you should consider putting some type of outriggers on your boat. Could be some small barrels made into a pontoon type design. Sorta like what tje shuttle craft looks like from the original Star Trek tv show.
    Anyway, keep up the great work!. My wife and I love you channel and all who are on it! Have a blessed day!!

    What’s nice about the trolling motor, less noise pollution though not entirely silent.

    Could you put hinges on a thin piece of plywood under the mattress to allow you to stow away the bedding along the walls. I know that would limit the storage overhead, but It might help. If it was offset of center, you could use the opening on one side for your feet, giving you a couch set up that you could fold back down for rest. I honestly believe you could create these en mass and attach an axle with wheels, and convert these little guys into micro campers. Good series! Thank you for your content

    My input is...old style hot water bottle/bag (the liver colored rubber thing). I never camp without two of them, myself. You can heat the lake water and put one in the end of your spelling bag and another at your chest. Keeps your bag and feet toasty all night. Just keep two in the boat for cold nights.

    honestly I'm surprised a design like this did not capsize but I suppose on a lake as calm as that was, even a brick would float. But its something I probably would do if I was building a boat for the first time though I probably would make the keel slightly tented and the bow at a sharper angle for these kind of purposes. nice project tho it looks like y'all had fun.

    I think you should put collapsable/ removable out riggers and put some sort of level in the boat just to see if your tipping too much on one side whilst inside . and mabye put like a metal ring around the hole for the propane stove incase it gets too hot. Hope it turns out great 👍

    • @SimpleTac
      @SimpleTac Рік тому

      I agree, I would definitely make about half of the table metal and some of the wall at least stone to prevent burning/smoke discoloration. it would be a good idea to make a foldable wall that doubles as a table in case things get out of hand so you can break that part off, if you know what i mean

      *Mr Fowler is an expert boatbuilder and swimmer. Overhead canopies are known hazards in accident scenarios and were I building this for my 71 year old father I would probably make the back upper third of that canopy out of something like pvc, velcro and canvas that quickly be ripped off by someone in an emergency. Again beautiful build and I love this channel but NTSB made a recommendation of canopy removal after more than 40 deaths about overhead canopies in surplus "duck boats" that is probably relevant here.*

    Just an over engineered very cool idea for weigh distribution.. instead of weights,, build in water ballasts that you can control with small pumps and a few switches on a panel.... you have power... its just coming up with an idea to make it work... should not be to hard.. Like the comment bellow mentioned ... out riggers could also work and would be more efficient for stabilizing, but it would also make it bigger and create more drag... but also a cool idea..
