Wow! We're looking to purchase 4 t12 we currently have 2 s20s and they are amazing we have 6 t4s and they sound great . I can only imagine what this sounds like . Great job.
i just ordered 6 dva s30 & 10 flexsys f315's im riggin the 315's flat side goin on top of each other.. im soo exited cant wait for them this monday comming.. :) your setup is awsome by the way
thanks, good to know as we have a pair of towers on order.usually prefer to centre cluster the subs and at least knowing the ballast is not needed, gives a few more options
Yes, most likely be covered or secured, but no issues this event. You are right about the suing thing...we may do a review on the S30s in the future. We are currently working on a new video for the FM12 monitor by dB Technologies. Thanks for watching !
Thank you for the video. I have to find it funny that you had a fantastic sound system around a bunch of easy up tents. LOL. I find the general public never appreciates quality sound. They only notice when microphones cut in and out or the music stops. Great job on the set up too. Too bad the sound quality on youtube gives it no justice.
Who makes the speakers, what are the model numbers? Need to know how you deploy them...what type of music, area that needs to be covered, then we can make some decent estimates...
Very nice but shouldn't that Cat5/power cable going to Foh of been dug in or trunked specially as people in the us are big on the whole suing thing, anyway will you be doing a video on the DVA S30N horn hybrids ?
they get loud and low, much nicer in my opinion than the S20, but the S20's were a really great sub too. these have 3000 watts vs 2000 and a bass reflex config vs. a bandpass. they are awesome
thanks for the comments. give us a call next time, we are dealers for db Technologies and RCF. We have low overhead and can make you and others some killer deals....enjoy.
5000 easy, however depending on room configuration, that could change. In an arena with all in front of stage and within dispersion pattern would be the setup. Balconies, side fill , etc would be the remaining challenge.
nice video ..... im very much intrested in the rig system you are using to fly the arrays can you post me the links to the suppliers or do u sell them , i need sme info aboutt their specs and weight capabilities etc thanks
With that set up I would estimate a few hundred , you are going to need tops with more HF coverage than a 1" wide dispersion horn. The subs will need to have like units added to cover low end. Get the speakers in the air on top of the subs for best coverage.
in grass we stake down the power and CAT5 cable and has not been an issue, on pavement we have cable runners we place over the runs. Cable ramps are $100+ a piece and have not made the investment to get $5000 worth to get to FOH, I guess that day is coming...cheers
yes, that is going to give you the best sonic signature. like subs with like freq. response with put together will couple as one and produce a +3db gain or double the power/SPL. if you go with a smaller sub not like the other, you do not get this gain and response.
We are using the cases we had for our T4's. Right now, no cases avail. from dB, but that will be addressed soon i am sure. Our T4 cases were a fluke on the fit, I bought used cases on ebay for they based on dimensions of the boxes, just happened to be a perfect fit for our T4's go figure. The T12's fit side to side and front to back, but we can't leave the power or XLR's in them like we do for the T4's, too deep.
that will help, but you should plan to keep the subs the same sonically unless you are crossing them over at a different frequency to fill in mid lows, etc. mixing up the response of different subs is not going to work as well as you hope....try for all the same subs.
hey i would like to ask you... when setting the t12 and t4 in array what setting do you put them on i mean the array setting in the back..?? thank you..
Islam Solo It depends on the number of boxes you are deploying and personal EQ taste. Set on recommended and go from there. Take a single box and listen to the EQ on each setting and you will hear what it does.
I need to provide sound for a Dutch singing event for an audience of approx. 500-750 people. I am considering to take 2 s30 per side, but would it be better to use 3 or 6 dva t8 per side? they are available in sets of 6.
I would use 6 per side, tho 3 per side could work, you are limited with coverage angles in a splay unless you flat face the boxes and everyone listening is in the vertical coverage zone. if you can get the T8 in the air you will have much better coverage than in ground stack configuration. once sound is over the top of the crowd you will notice much better response and coverage, angle boxes to flat face the tops to cover far back and gently splay the remaining boxes. you can also see this in dva composer running on a PC down load from db technologies website.
4 T8s per side up on crank stands would , you need to get them in the air. ground stack it would be tough especially if the crowd was in front of them 2 S30 will work OK but 4 would be better. You are not going to get a lot of SPL from a rig this size but for concerts in the park, etc. would work well.
Hello good day, I'm watching your video and I like the aluminum structure for line array, you can tell me which model and brand is? I need something like that for my team. Thank you
It is a truss tower made by a Italian Company...Trabes, we have them for sale in the US for $3900 per side or $7800 total for a set which includes the towers, truss, case, ground base for ballast, etc. The case holds the crank section, legs and top block. the 2 truss pieces do not have a case.
hi thanks for the video i have 2000w xti crown amp i just want to use one 400w bin and one 300w top with eq and xover would the amp be to powerful thanks.
I think you would be pushing it for that low for constant solid 35-40hz. A better option would be the RCF 9007AS dual 21" sub. Better yet is the RCF TTS56A dual 21" but those get quite pricey.
Also look at the db technologies VIO S118, heard a pair of them yesterday and they are amazing, go very low and loud and light weight compared to others...around 100 pounds.
NO, S30 is not equal to TTS36A, maybe a bit better than 8006 or 9006 subs. The TTS26A is in a league of its own. For small dual 15" subs, nothing comes close, maybe a Martin box or L Acoustics..but we must compare 15" systems not 15" to 18"
I am not sure what you are going to do with the F315's but if you think they are going to may a line array on their side and rigging those together, you are going to have nothing buy serious comb filtering issues and cancellations. Line Arrays are very narrow vertical beam speakers with wide horizontal coverage. The F315's will not sonically compliment each other, but will take away sound and produce nothing but garbage output if used like that.
We are dealers and sell the lifts. They are Trabes from Italy and sold through db technologies. Give me a call or visit our website for email contact link. 209-832-8023 is the number.
Very clean on the top end....articulate mids ! ....sweet

Catching on quickly. RCF more known, dB is slowly up and coming. We love our system.
Thanks for stopping by..

wow, that is a lovely rig! really neat and tidy!
Very nice but shouldn't that Cat5/power cable going to Foh of been dug in or trunked specially as people in the us are big on the whole suing thing, anyway will you be doing a video on the DVA S30N horn hybrids ?

Hi,with the Trabes lifts - do you feel they require the subs for ballast at the front?or do you think you could use them on their own?thanks
How do you transport the units? do you have custom cases or is there a case out there for them?
thanks for the comments. give us a call next time, we are dealers for db Technologies and RCF. We have low overhead and can make you and others some killer deals....enjoy.
All your signals are sent wireless to the FOH then back the same way to the amps?
The Trabes lifts will work great without the subs as ballast, the balancing point is fine with our without....
5000 easy, however depending on room configuration, that could change. In an arena with all in front of stage and within dispersion pattern would be the setup. Balconies, side fill , etc would be the remaining challenge.

it was the processing that UA-cam did on it, we did an enhance and that is how it turned out...
With that set up I would estimate a few hundred , you are going to need tops with more HF coverage than a 1" wide dispersion horn. The subs will need to have like units added to cover low end. Get the speakers in the air on top of the subs for best coverage.
what are you views on FBT qube line array speaker system .... do you have any knowledge on it ......thanks

are those subs the dva s30 ?? and how loud does each sub sounds ?

excuse me, trinityprosound, can I know the songs list while you showing the new sub?
please, i really want to know it...
that will help, but you should plan to keep the subs the same sonically unless you are crossing them over at a different frequency to fill in mid lows, etc. mixing up the response of different subs is not going to work as well as you hope....try for all the same subs.
is this the second songs during the present? thank you very much...
:)
hey i would like to ask you...

thank you..
Islam Solo It depends on the number of boxes you are deploying and personal EQ taste. Set on recommended and go from there. Take a single box and listen to the EQ on each setting and you will hear what it does.
I have 12 sets dva t4, if I purchase t12 like this set up what should we do to synchronize the power deliver for dvat4 and t12
I need to provide sound for a Dutch singing event for an audience of approx. 500-750 people. I am considering to take 2 s30 per side, but would it be better to use 3 or 6 dva t8 per side? they are available in sets of 6.

Thank you for your advice, I will download the software and see what is the best option.
How many people could this setup do indoors?
Would 4 T8s plus 2 s30n subs per side be enough power to cover an audience of 1000 in an outdoor scenario?
4 T8s per side up on crank stands would , you need to get them in the air. ground stack it would be tough especially if the crowd was in front of them 2 S30 will work OK but 4 would be better. what kind of music are you going if anyone knows
Tib HD ?

Tib HD I believe it was Chuck Mangione not sure of the specific song...
hi thanks for the video i have 2000w xti crown amp i just want to use one 400w bin and one 300w top with eq and xover would the amp be to powerful thanks.
These are all powered speakers with built in amps, so no need for external Crown amp. 😀
trinityprosound are those subs good for reggae bass 35-40Hz?
I think you would be pushing it for that low for constant solid 35-40hz. A better option would be the RCF 9007AS dual 21" sub. Better yet is the RCF TTS56A dual 21" but those get quite pricey.

Parabéns pelo sistema de som e organização
I believe the S30 is similar to the TTS36A..so DVA S20 is similar to TTS26A?

FBT makes some good systems, I don't have any first hand experience with their speakers.
what program do u guys use to calculate the array's?
thijs byrne db technology has DVA Composer that is a great start for setup
thx man
What is the lift called, holding up the line array?
it is a TRABES DRL45... it is also sold via Db Technologies as well....they have taller units as well
How long is your snake cable .
we were using the digital snake 150 foot CAT5 cable

please how do i get the DVA composer for Mac OS
It is only for PC at this time and not for MAC OS
is that dva s20n?
yes it is ... great subs for the price point...they have been replaced by the KS20
trinityprosound what's inside of it? does is have neodymium woofer? or just only a ferrite magnet?
ours had both...neo and ferrite...they changed up at some point and did ferrite i am sure due to cost issues
trinityprosound okay. its better to have a neo woofers. much db spL and more power
no same everything, just less weight to speaker and cabinet
LOW END DUTY LOL😅😆👍🔊🔉🔈⬅️
Powerful

Can you take one full volume?
Not sure what you are asking , full volume of what ????
Nice...

Check Kenny G, Pastel is what I believe it is...
You can afford all the pa and iLive etc. Yet haven't got any cable ramps? Thought public safety was more important than anything these days.
Do not ever use the anti-shake crap UA-cam ask you to do when the video is shaky.
