What I appreciate about African music is that we still get to have the same music done by artist around our fathers and mothers time. Artists like Haruna Ishola, king Sunny Ade, Commander Ebenezer Obey, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Sir Victor Uwifor and many other great artists have all been replaced by thier children. So we are still able to enjoy the same music as our parents. This I am really thankful for because I grew up listening to these old artists our parents listened to and invited to perform at their parties. I am very happy about this as we can still invite their children to play music at our parties if we desire. This is my no means saying that the youths of today cannot perform or even better. It is just interesting to know we still have a variety of great musicians, male and female to invite to perform at our social gatherings same as our parents.

While I commend these great musicians, we must however make d “grammar phones” to play & enjoy d music in under convenience of r roofs, so we can face d challenges before us & r Great Nation-Nigeria.
