- Adding a new hydraulic thumb to the mini ex. This is an AGT industrial mini excavator. 13 1/2 horse Briggs & Stratton engine. It’s a great little machine, especially for new Farmsteads. Or just small property owners.
Link to the Thumb. www.ebay.com/itm/265636363390?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=RZ14qy-PS7K&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=DwSRbw1SQgC&var=565424329456&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Do you know the size of the fittings? I’d like to get the hoses made ahead of time.
@@jsmed12 No because they just made new hoses for me. So I don’t know what size they are. Sorry
Does anyone know of a link to a thumb that has the extra larger fittings included? I'm buying an FF12 and I believe its just like this QH12 in that it has larger hydraulic lines+fittings. This thumb in the video was likely made for an H12, which I think might have smaller hydraulic lines+fittings. If anyone can provide a link to a thumb with the larger fittings included that would be awesome!
I thought I was doing ok with a mechanical thumb on mine but you've inspired me to look seriously at a hydraulic one now especially as it fitted on so easily. cheers.
Yeah… I think it’s definitely a good upgrade. 😉
I just bought a machine today 1.3 ton diesel with hydraulic thumb ready to test it out
Thank for making this video ! I just ordered A Typhon mini Terror X I hope it goes as well as your experience.
I was thinking about ordering the same. How did the installation go for you?
Easy install! 20 minutes@@kevinhorsley8372
Thanks for the video. I used the company adapt all who has a dealer in Tennessee allied hose and belting. They will ship the adapters. Be there in 2 days.
Quite lucky that it did fit instantly! Didn't expect that.
Yeah, I was happy about that as well. Except for the line issue. It went pretty smooth.
Congrats on setting-up ur new Hyd Thumb for ur Mini Excavator.
HE DID GOOD. very helpful video. i got the thumb but my excavator from China was different . it has only one point to connect thumb (his frame has two pieces with three holes welded). i ended fabricating to pieces and welding them into the frame . it worked and i am very happy. My hoses came with the adapters already. i recommend buying the thumb and make whatever adaptation is required. Is better than buying a CAT unit or similar for a lot of money.
If you can wait for shipping surpluscenter has almost every fitting you might need. It looks like a simple 3/8 to 1/2 adapter to 1/4 to 3/8 adapter was needed. $5 for the pair plus likely $10 shipping. VS $50 to $100 in hoses. Their hoses are also very cheap cost wise vs everywhere else.
FYI everythng on these machine ss metric not SAE
Dang you weren't kidding thats so cheap. Wish they had metric.
I like the fact there is no welding or fabrication needed.
Can you measure the thumb ram length extended and collapsed? I'm hoping to just buy a ram and hook it on my stock mechanical thumb.
Also, do you know the fitting style and size that the shop put on each end of the hose? Thank you.
also curious about the cylinder bore and stroke. Thinking of the same thing because I can likely make the bolt-in adapter.
@@benlenders7813Did you ever make your own? I went with an 8" ram. 16" extends to 24". I'm not done yet, but it looks like a shorter ram would be a better fit. Maybe a 6" (12x18)?
I would try to install it on the bucket pivot point if it fits. It should pivot with the bucket so the bite is always same.
Yeah… I thought about that. But it’s not wide enough for that. This thumb just fits wear the original one was. But it works great. Thanks for the suggestion. 😉👍🏻
I put a thumb on my bobcat E10 and it was a nightmare. It had to be heavily modified and ended up costing a fortune and doesn’t fit as well as yours. This one looks and seems to fit great. Good video. I like how you keep the chatter to a minimum and just the facts mam. I’m subscribing
Hey… Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. 😉👍🏻
nice mod to your mini for sure...thumbs up !!
Good video, looking forward to see more videos from you
Nice excavator and smart addition with the hydraulic thumb. You've got a great shop there as well. Saw you had a TN plate on the yellow beast. Just bought property there and cannot wait to put a house on it and move out of communist suburbia. God bless brother! Nice "Glock" art also!!
Hey…. Thanks for checking out the video. Sounds great!! Hope you enjoy Tennessee as much as I do. 😉👌🏻
We are looking forward to the move. Find a builder, hurry up and wait, purge stuff, load up and go. At least a year...@@diywithcookiepops2193
Congratulations, looking at the view count it looks like "the algorithm" picked this one up an showed it to a bunch of new people, including me :)
Looks like a great addition to the mini excavator! I think it would be wise to install some bushings though, the connection from the thumb to the boom is VERY loose, both pin size and side to side movement. The holes and pin will wear out in no time at all like this. A grease fitting probably wouldn't hurt either.
Some hints to improve your videos:
- Volume control / normalization. I kept changing the volume throughout the video. Lower it when the machine ran, up again when you were talking, down again when the machine ran, way down at the bit you sped up. It's a bit more work for you to set the volume of the individual clips (or even parts of clips), but it makes watching (and especially hearing) these videos much more enjoyable :) For instance, the transition at 1:10 goes from an ok level of motor noise to VERY LOUD motor noise. At 3:20 it's the other way around, removing the packaging sounds a lot louder than your voice.
- Perhaps a separate mic for your voice? Especially handy when the camera and its mic are pointing away from you.
Wow…. Thanks for all the advice. I will definitely try these things in future videos. I really appreciate it. Also I put some collars around the main pin too hopefully help with the side to side movement. And some grease. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks again.
They are nice machines for about half the cost. I purchased one about a month ago from Denny. I had mine shipped down to TX. It works perfect the work I do.
How much was the shipping?
Eso es lo que yo digo , una persona que dispone de poco recursos no puede comprar una Bocap o una Yacman, los países occidentales que fabriquen para gente de poco dinero como China.
Great video! I'm glad it worked out well! 😊
Nice shop. Nice
Machine.... And
You only own a
Crescent wrench
And a pair of channel locks....
Maybe Santa can
Bring you a Harbor
Freight tool set.
i wish these were available in europe too. i may need to build my own from scratch
great job, i think that will be a great addition to your excavator!
Yeah.. it’s definitely going to come in handy. Thanks for watching.
Did you ever give us a link for this? How much was shipping?
Amazing.........I hope you get lots of operational hours of use out of your 'Ding Dong Digger' .
when you install the hydraulic thumb on AGT excavator , what size end did they put on the end of the hydralic hose that goes to the excavator line.
I’m really not sure. They just made them up for me. So IDK what size they are. Sorry 🤷🏼♂️
ok THX
From what mine is I had to change the one end on the line to a 10mm light din fitting. Hope that helps. The line size on the ram is 8mm light din. Not sure why they made the auxiliary lines bigger. My only thought was for flow with like a auger or something that needs more gpm
Never ceases to amaze me, nice shop, but doesn’t have the right tools for the job. Three days later, still couldn’t find the right tools. Harbor freight sells a wrench, socket set for $39.95.
Actually I just finished the shop recently. And on top of that I’m a just retired ex auto mechanic for 32 years with Goodyear. And most of my tools and boxes are still at my other house. Still slowly moving things. But thanks for the comment. 😉👍🏻
Some home mechanics are cheap skates and don't want to spend money on tools but have a nice shop I prefer to buy every tool known to man to make my job easier.
Hey he got the job done with the tools he has 😮
@diywithcookiepops2193 did you retire from goodyear in union city?
I thought this too. I never hold bolt heads with pliers, especially big ones like these. In the case here, a 1 3/8s socket fits these locknuts perfectly.
F'in hose shops! more than likely they could have replaced that end, just cut the swage off the one on yours cut the hose back and put he fitting back on with a new swage. But that makes them no money! I normally cut it off myself and take it to them. 2 other things looks like you need to put some spacers on the bottom pivot point where the thumb mounts to the stick you don't want the thumb to move side to side and hope you checked your hydraulic fluid after you worked iy a few time. Looks pretty good.
Yeah… they just wanted to sell new hoses. They said they couldn’t stand behind their work with some other hose. I did check the fluid it was still in the safe range. And I put some collars on the bottom pin to keep it from moving around. Thanks for the tips. 😉👍🏻
@@diywithcookiepops2193 See if you can find a crimp tool and do it yourself. Screw them, if they try to gouge you.
@@erik_dk842 Hydraulic hose crimpers are several thousand dollars with all the collets.
You'd have to make a lot of hoses to make it worthwhile. 🤯
Could put another couple of lugs higher up the dipper to full retract the manual thumb ?
No. that was as high is it would go. I guess I could have welded something higher. But I really wanted the hydraulic thumb 😉👍🏻
What size is the fitting you had to buy and where did you get it?
Not sure of the size. I just took everything to my hydraulic shop and they made it all work for me.
Would that be able to fit in a 8ft high garage door without hitting?
Not sure on that one. But I would say yes. I don’t think it’s over 8ft.
this might sound dumb but...does your excavator have a rear hatch access that swings open? i bought a similar one and havent been able to find any other doors other than the flip up seat....
No… Just the flip up seat. And it does make it a pain to work on. Could of used a little more thought in the design for sure.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE MEASUREMENT IS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM OF THE MOUNTING POINTS. THANKS
Great video!👍🏻
Mine only has 6 hours and it seems like it’s way to hot under seat any good ideas for cooling it besides a fan
No.. not really. I’m gonna do the two fans. And see how it does. Probably do another video on that as well. 👌🏻
What kind of weight can be moved with your setup? Needing to move logs myself as well...
I think the total lifting capacity is around 5 or 6 hundred lbs. But easily 3 to 4 hundred with no problem. 👌🏻
So it was already plumbed for a thumb? Just capped off? Already a hydraulic lever for the thumb?
Yeah everything was already there. There is a lot of other attachment you can get as well. Next I’m thinking of getting the post hole digger. 😉👍🏻
Yeah that would be handy@@diywithcookiepops2193
What hydraulic fluid do you use?
I just use the Tractor Supply fluid. Traveller 5 gal. Premium Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil, ISO 46 www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/traveller-premium-hydraulic-oil-iso-46-5-gal-t806325
Do you find the hydraulics extremely jumpy on your machine? I purchased one and even with the rpms low mine is anything but smooth operating.
OH Yeah… The hydraulics are very sensitive. You have to move very slowly. 😬 But I got use to it. I looked for a way to maybe adjust the sensitivity but I didn’t find anything. 🤷🏼♂️
@@diywithcookiepops2193 You may be able to modify a fitting to install a restrictor in the feed line to the control valve.
That would slow down the flow, but still allow max pressure for digging.
I'd want to be sure it wouldn't cause excessive bypass and overheating of the hydraulics though.
I have the same excavator. Did yours come already plumbed for the hydraulic thumb?
Yeah… it had everything all ready to go.
So the mini ex came with lines already ran for the thumb with controls on it?
Yes sir…. It was ready to go. For a thumb or any other attachment.
Just a question. Did you have existing hydraulic lines from the excavator already, to connect to the thumb or did you have to install those as well?
Did you have to add a valve to control the thumb?
No, the machine already has everything to control it. So just install it and done.
I'm really curious what your local hydraulic shop charged you for your two new lines with new fittings?
It was around $50 bucks. No to bad I thought.
@@diywithcookiepops2193 thank you for your quick response I agree 50 bucks to have it right is very fair. I clicked on to your link and they're sold out I'm going to attempt to buy one on another site. It looks like shipping could take up to 45 days I don't get it LOL
Wow!! The place I got it, I’m pretty sure shipped from Chicago. It took about a week. It’s well worth the wait. 👍🏻
Just a heads up the place in Chicago orders their thumbs from the same place I just ordered my new thumb. Which makes me feel better lol it's the first time I've ever used eBay.
Hey I got my new thumb the other day and it came with the extra correct fittings to use the hoses that came with it . Thanks again for your link appreciate it @@diywithcookiepops2193
Did your excavator already have the control mounted for the thumb cylinder?
Yeah… the controls and the hydraulic lines were already there.
I believe it is the left pedal.
It seems that it is out of stock on Ebay. Do you know where else I can find it?
I just searched mini excavator thumb and I found a few of them on eBay. 🤷🏼♂️
can you give me the link?@@diywithcookiepops2193
How many hours are on your machine...thank you.
Not sure really. My hour gauge was not working when I got it. But since I have replaced it. And now it has about 10 or 12 hours on the meter. But really about double that I’m guessing.
Nice toy!!!!
Can you please give me the size of the hoses that you needed? I plan on getting the same hydraulic thumb. Awesome video thank you so much.
Still have the manual thumb?
Yeah… I’ll keep it just in case.
What size trees can it push over?
Haven’t tried that yet. When I do I’ll let you know. 😉👍🏻
Ones that are already dead/Rotten/broken and leaning on one another. Not much-pushing power up in the air. With the thumb it will rip small branches well enough. Bucket only goes about 6' in the air.
Good video. I am in the process of putting a hydraulic thumb on my EM15 and the bracket has to be made as the one that comes with the thumb doesn't fit. Don't know why the people that make these things don't do one end of the hoses with the M16 as non that I have seen com with the M15 size. Would make it so much easier..
Do you have fans to keep your engine cool
I have some but haven’t installed them yet. Weather is cool right now so I’ll probably put them on in the spring. 😉
How is that agt holding up?
Really good… I’ve had no problems so far. Moved a lot of stuff. Dug some trenches. No issues. 👌🏻
so the mini-ex came pre-plumbed and with the control for the hydraulic thumb or was that an option on purchase?
No it came with everything ready for the thumb. Or any other attachment you want. I’m also thinking about getting a post hole drill in the future. 😉👍🏻
I’m also looking at an auger attachment would you be getting it from the same company
@@robster7999 Yes…. I already have it in my cart. Just waiting right now to get it. It’s like $1000 bucks. When I get ready to do my farm fence I’ll definitely get it. 👍🏻
@@diywithcookiepops2193 I just bought a CFG DY14 and am hoping the attachments will fit, can seem to find any dimensions, maybe when you get this piece you could give that info in the next video, thank you for your time.
@@diywithcookiepops2193 do you know if there is a way to change the controls from backhoe to excavator
Hi there, any problem with the dozer blade not going high enough? Thanks Great video
Yeah… it doesn’t go as high as I’d like. But you get used to it. Not to big of a problem. Thanks for checking it out. 😉
Can you tell me how to get one?
There’s a link in the comments.
What to sell the one yo took off?
No… but thanks for asking.
Was the new thumb that different from the hydraulic one? Who not just replace the solid steel piece with a hydraulic ram?
The original thumb was a fixed thumb. And got in the way of digging. So I replaced it with the hydraulic one. So it could be moved up higher out of the way. For the price of the thumb it wasn’t worth trying to fabricate something. 😉
Hi how loud is it??
It sounds like a 13 1/2 Horse briggs and Stratton. 🤷🏼♂️😉
Good job with that Thumb install. Could you have posted the link that monetizes for you since it seems you're the only one I've seen do this for the ..what I call Micro excavator from Agrotk. Everyone is calling it a mini excavator, but it it really that? Seattle/Tacoma, WA

How much that little excavator cost?
I got this for $7500 free shipping. I think it’s worth it. It’s been a great little machine. 😉
хорошая вещь. такую же хочу
If you would, could you reply with the retracted length of that cylinder? My machine (H12) is the same and already has the fixed thumb. Just a cylinder and hoses and I'd be in service!
I measured the cylinder from center of hole to center of hole retracted. And it is 13ins. 😉👍🏻
You got taken by your hydraulic shop. They got you for two new hoses when you could've ordered the right fittings online for less than $50.
Thanks for the Vid!, I have been contemplating a Hydraulic Thumb addition to my JF-12 (Same as your QH12) because Yes the Mech. Thumb gets in the way. The Fitting for the Aux Lines were one concern, Metric O Ring Thread to what ever would work??? I am grateful to learn that the Hoses supplied still need attention, this will save me a Step. Now that my Mini Geisha is at the Cabin far away from my Hydraulic Supplier.
Did you consider just adding a Cylinder in place of the Strut on your Mech Thumb? However, finding a cylinder "Collapsed at shorter than 14"" (the strut's length) would be a hard task.
Also, did you remove the "Detent" part of your Aux. valve?
Yeah… i think it would be easier just to get the whole thumb kit.
No I haven’t done anything with the valve.
@@diywithcookiepops2193 Yes, looking though they might not ship to Canada, so I will have to do some investigating. The Detent is an easy fix (from what I have been told) might make it easier to work with.
I do like my Thumb, and very seldom it actually gets in the way though, but I haven't done any Branch Clean Up, Log moving yet where the Thumb is in use. I might just leave the Mechanical there for the time being. Fathers Day is coming fast!
Allo . Quand tu achete le pouce hydrolique .le fiting pour les oses arrive tu avec le kit ou il faut tu lachete a part
It sure took a long time to pull the pins on your mechanical thumb. I see why you wanted hydraulic. My mechanical thumb takes only 5 seconds to pull a pin and reposition - no tools needed. And folds all they way back against the stick for digging. I wish I had hydraulic, but my mechanical one works great for now.
Yeah… this one won’t go any higher. But I’m really liking this hydr one so far. 😉👍🏻
Should put grease on bolt
Thanks… yeah I have added some grease to the bolts. Just a little, I’m wondering if it will attach dirt through.
What engine runs that excavator? Sounds like a lawnmower engine.
Yeah. I basically is. It’s a 13.5 hp B&S XR professional series engine.
I need a mini where do I get one
Just check eBay. Search mini excavator and you’ll find some.
Better add two 7" fans in that engine bay pushing out! I have the same machine and it will boil the gas after 20 mins of medium load and hydro lock the engine.. PS I feel bad the chinese put your boom sticker on upside down on the left side
Yeah…. I’ve heard of it getting hot. Haven’t had that issue yet. Fan idea sounds pretty good though. May try that anyway. The sticker? 🤷🏼♂️ Chinese! What ya gonna do? 😉👍🏻
Ya ran mine yesterday for bout 30 and it boiled the gas so I ordered a couple 7" rad fans hope that cures it or I'll be moving the gas tank out of the engine compartment kinda sketchy
Pull sticker off, flip over, re-attach. Solved. :) Mine gets HOT, but hasn't boiled the gas yet. Good idea about the fans.
Where did you get the kit
Just found your channel and was surprised to see you had both a Chinese one ton excavator and a TYM T264, so do I! Well actually mine is a T234, but basically the same as a T264. I'm really happy with the two machines. For small pieces of equipment, it's amazing how much they can do.
Yeah… that’s cool. I hear ya. Two great machines to have around. There’s always something that needs done. I appreciate you checking out the video. 😉👍🏻
It’s always concerning when the name painted on the box is misspelled. That, or he received a “Typhon” (Tai-fung) instead of a Typhoon brand as claimed. 🤣 JS
Add that to the boom decal being upside down, etc. it all screams Chinesium.
Yeah… I hear ya. 😉👍🏻
The usual way to join Metric and Imperial fittings is to cut the appropriate nipples in half and weld/braze them together. 2 for the price of 1!
Both machine and the thumb are metric. There are no SAE bolts/hardware on any of the chinese machines.
@@maxfilippi5730 Correct - but the post was for the information of anyone who needed to repair the supplied fittings with locally sourced Imperial fittings/hoses. 😉
👍👍🛠🛠
Subscribed. I have a similar machine and also had an issue with finding the right F-F fittings. I ended up welding two M-F fittings back to back to get the F-F gender. Looks ugly, but works! I also find that the pilot controls are very sensitive and unless I am very slow and deliberate with moving the joysticks, it causes the boom/bucket and tracks to be jerky. I'm used to more coarse control like on my John Deere tractor. I'm getting better at it though. How is it with yours?
Yeah… the controls are very sensitive. You better move slowly or it can get out of hand quickly. 😬
Those aren't pilot controls - they're direct-linkage old-school mechanical controls.
Fwiw, I have a 1.6T direct-from-China mini with pilot controls and Kubota diesel, but even with pilot controls, it's still twitchy, mainly the swing (especially if you're using multiple functions at once, say boom and swing, once you stop moving the boom, swing will lurch). Will install a control valve on the swing circuit to slow it down. On those gasoline engine minis, I'd install a better muffler to get noise levels down.
@@ArthurDentZaphodBeeb Thanks for your comment. I have a 1.5T with a Yanmar diesel. I would like to know how you would install a control valve to slow down the hydraulic oil flow. Can you send me a link to this valve or direct me to where I can learn more about this. Thanks a lot!
If you can find the relief valve for the pilot system and turn the pressure down you will have a little smoother operation.
cant you just add a hydraulic cylinder in place of the piece of steel that links the thumb stationary?
You could… For me it was easier and quicker just to get the hole assembly. Plus the new thumb is a little larger.
Hi there did you post a link to the thump hydraulic and hose size we need? Thank you new sub!
Hydraulic thumb makes a huge difference. I'm boggled so many of them don't come with them as standard. What did it cost to get the thumb?
It was $400 with shipping. Yeah such a better machine with a thumb. 😉
If you had to get new tracks where would you get them? I recently installed a hyd thumb on my mini. Wasn’t made for it but I got it working. Looks to be the same as yours. Keep the videos coming.
Probably from China. There is a couple of different suppliers. Just Google Chinese mini excavator tracks. And you’ll find them. 😉👌🏻
You used a diverter valve
The machine was already set up with everything except for the hydraulic thumb itself.
Isnt that a kick in the head with those hydraulic shops? Its like they get so offended you didnt buy a cat or JD. How dare you want to try a simple fitting solution, no way! You gotta buy our hose.
My local hydraulic shop is run by the Amish. They do good work but anything metric forget it. If it isn't SAE, you're better off going online.
What's the max lift capacity for that excavator?
Other videos have lift tested these. What I’ve lifted so far is around 500 pounds. With little effort really.
@@diywithcookiepops2193 The danger with these is they will rock forward/backwards on the tracks violently. The arms are stronger than the base is heavy... :(
@@crisrhea6875 As long as you’re smart about what you’re doing, there pretty safe.
I'm inexperienced with an excavator, so I've been conservative. What I found was if the bucket gets caught on something (e.g., a large rock in the hole you're digging), the excavator will pitch forward (even with the blade down). The act of pitching forward will cause you to push on the stick, causing it to pitch backwards. I've never operated a larger excavator before, but I suspect this is the difference between controls mounted on a pedestal versus controls mounted as part of the operator seat. I agree with "pretty safe", but I found a reason to wear a hard hat... :) These things are great at getting into small spaces to dig. My tractor with a 3-pt backhoe is at least 25' long and w-a-y less maneuverable. Sorry, this is more about general operation than lifting things... I'm curious as to others' experiences.
@@crisrhea6875 I agree for sure. Pilot controls are way better. 😉👌🏻
Any issues with your tracks coming off? I have the same Mini, and have had the tracks on both sides come off under normal operation. Any suggestions/experience would be appreciated.
No, I haven’t had any track issues with them coming off. I have had some rocks get in there and kind of jam it up though. I’m sure you’ve got them tight. 🤷🏼♂️ IDK.
Hi Steven. I have a similar machine and had the same issue. I found that if I tighten the tension of the tracks as much as possible - not leaving 3/4 or so, of space as some advise, that they will stay on. I don't think doing this will wear out the tracks as some say. So far, so good. Anyway, it's better than the alternative.
@@patrickwong2823 Thank you for the reply! I kinda figured this is what I would need to do. Can you tell me what tools you used? It's a tight space!
@@Indy0465 Hello Steven. Not sure what you are asking. But if it's how to tighten the tracks, I just unscrew the cover plate on the track to access the grease zerk fitting. To loosen the track to reposition, let the grease out. To tighten, pump it full of grease. But lift the track off the ground with the bucket first. However, some mini-excavators use a different method. Check other videos on UA-cam. hope this helps.
@Patrick Wong Yes, mine is the different kind. I have back off a 38mm lock nut, then adjust the screw with a smaller wrench.
When you are driving out a threaded bolt, leave the nut on about halfway, don't use a hammer on the exposed threads. Otherwise, good video
Please get an impact immediately!!!
I have plenty of impacts. Really no need for one on this job. Pretty basic install. No need to power your way through life all the time. 😉
Does the QH12 already come with the control to operate the add-on hydraulic thumb?
Yes… Controls and hydraulic lines on the stick. Ready to go. 👌🏻😉
I wouldn’t hammer those bolts like that for sure
If your interested in selling the mechanical thumb, I’m interested!!!
Yeah… not sure about that. Sorry.
I will give u mine

Dude I am actually in the comments or this video but using a crescent wrench and channel locks for hydraulic lines you need to use the correct wrenches before you fuck them lines up word of advice the correct wrenches
Hey… Thanks for the advice.
Better off buying used than buying pure chinesium.
These things are incredibly unreliable, the pump starves at the best of times and dies when you don't want it to, not to mention that Briggs is not what they were and that little petrol motor will break down.
Whatever, I guess an excavator is better than a shovel, have fun while it lasts.
Yeah… definitely better than a shovel. Haven’t had any issues with it so far. The pump is very strong. It’s not on the job everyday, so I’m pretty sure it will last for a while. Plus any replacement parts even the engine are readily accessible and won’t break the bank. Also it’s pretty easy to work on. It’s an awesome addition to the farmstead equipment. 😉
Used cheap reliable. Pick two, you can never get all three. Brand name excavators, especially the smaller ones, are way overpriced for specimens worn out in every department
Could of got them to cut ur hyd end off the hose and put the new 1 on ,cheaper easier
He specifically said that they (Local shop) would not do that, They aren't going to be responsible for cheap Chinese hoses and fittings.
@@repaid1 Every damn hose shop I've ever been to says the same bs regardless of hose brand. Most of them are complete ripoff scammers.
How much would a Chinesium hydraulic fitting crimper tool cost? Imagine being able to make your own custom hoses and giving the scammer shop a raised middle finger.
Instead of buying that whole unit you could have went and bought just the cylinder and hoses from Tractor Suply.
Yeah… but the thumb that came on the machine isn’t that great. The new one is bigger and thicker than the original. 😉👍🏻
That's horseshit. Tractor Supply never has what I need, save for nuts and bolts. That's all they're good for.
Why made in China?
It’s Cheap!!
