The FMCSA officer was very helpful. From the beginning we have kept a separate file with a copy of all of the docs for the audit in it. We were on the phone literally about 10-15 minutes. Congrats Youssif, and. Thanks for all you do for us!
Bro , love you videos so much information, please don't change your ways. I don't mind different videos but they soon forget the , channel is about trucking.
Thanks for the info my friend I’m expecting mine anytime I was told with a new authority I will get one within the first year but now with the Covid thing you may takes longer but I’m a hot shot is there anything in particular I need to get prepared for since I’m only driver and the owner and I do have a CDL
When the time comes, they will send very specific instructions via email and/or mail. Once you receive the notice, you will have time to gather the requested info. My audit was virtual due to COVID but usually done in person.
Hey Brother thanks for your info. Did they mention about Proper use of ELD that do they Check Every Activity on the one month ELD history..Also did you chose and send the random month from the whole year or the recent month that you were at that time. Thank and hope you ll reply my question.
Man, you went a long time before your audit. I started my company way after you, I had mine months ago. Feels good to pass though, right? Congratulations
No they don't require any receipts for fuel or anthying ifta relateded! Only logs paper or electronic.and also they don't email you telling you " YOU ARE A GREAT MAN"! Unless he is a gay!
Why would someone dislike this video, i see 6 dislike, the video is very informative, maybe if you disliked another video i will understand but to dislike this one you should be a hater Keep it up bro, you are a great man
FMCSA set up the Clearinghouse - I wonder why they'd need or want a drug screening copy from the owner or operator? They'd have that in the Clearinghouse (I think). Good on you for passing the audit!
Congratulations!! Love seeing this type of success! Very inspiring! Can you explain how to do a query on myself ( owner operator) in clearing house? I went to the website and for the life of me I can see where it is. ( I’m a new owner op) thanks And keep up the great job
Yeah, you pretty much created an employer’s account. Once you are logged in, you’ll see a tab say “query” click on that and just follow it. If you are going to do that for a driver of yours, make sure you have their written consent to do that.
Salaam alaikum Yousif brother Next week Monday is my first day of truck driving school, inshallah next month will get my license. Thanks for your helpful videos and tips you mentioning on your videos, honestly they are very helpful for me and I learned lot of tips. Allah bless you. I have a question, why you buy Kinword truck ? Is it a reliable truck ? Why not Volvo Most of my friends are truck driver and the recommend Volvo. I saw most of your videos and you are a professional driver, PLEASE let me know the reason. Thanks
Good luck in your CDL school! I have only driven Kenworth and so far I like it. I every truck is good as long as they have a solid engine in them (Cummins)
Brother, one question I have if you could answer. I am running on paper logs considering my truck is a 1999 model. How do I upload the 30 days? Thank you!
Hey Yousiff, when you initially set up the business how did you get the information; did you use any particular resource maybe like from jj keller, or did you have an experienced friend to help guide you on things to have prepared for this audit? Thanks for everything that you are doing!
"Trucking Topics Today", ask for Tony. He has all the information you need and is very easy to talk to. My company would not be in business today without Tony. I am Rocket City Express.
I got my MC active just now, can I go on the road without having this inspection certificate as totally new authority? Or should go get the DOT inspection from highway police or at scale?
Hi yousiff how could I go about finding loads I’m planning on buying truck cash and a flatbed trailer I have my cdl I’ve actually had my cdl for 7 years but only used it for less than 6 months. So with that said where could I find loads since I don’t have the 2 years everyone requires
*Did they “request” all these things OR “require” them? I’m asking because I don’t know if they are requiring ALL these things or some they are just requesting.* Because why would they want fuel receipts for a single driver? There may be a good reason for it, but I’m just not understanding why they would want that. I’m not really sure why they would want fuel receipts for all the drivers, but you said they just wanted fuel receipts for one single driver. That sounds even more odd that they would want that. So were they just requesting the fuel receipts for one driver but you could decline, or is that required?
Because it would corroborate the time logs that they also look over. Pretty sure they have an app they dump all the data in with make/model of truck and flags any weirdness.
@@Philtho - Yeah the same thing pass my mind, but I figured they would want all of the drivers fuel receipts then. Because if this is really how they audit every company, then the company just has to submit the fuel receipts for the one person that adheres to the rules and then they can let everybody else not adhere to the rules, or whatever they want to do. I guess unless the one person that they want fuel receipts for is someone that’s a DOT picks instead of the company voluntarily provides.
Good job, congratulations. I just got my authority last week and my truck is in the shop being finished up, then to the sign company and I'm good.

How much time did they allow for you to complete the audit. What if you're on the road?
They gave me 21 calendar days.

Brokers do not ask for driver’s experience. They do however give you a hard time at your first 90 days.
@@ontheroad7097 thanks for the response!! So what do you use to find loads thanks In advance!!
@@G82Rannier watch his older videos. But there are sites like truckstop.
Try the UA-cam channel Just Truckin the driver Justin talks about drivers getting loads from brokers all the time and the apps to use.
Be prepared to have your first 3 months slow, after, just keep it clean.
Ru getting vaccinated
hopefully not...
