Nothing the AMC board does is ever good for retail. We thought the branded popcorn, credit cards, candy, zoom meetings etc. would change the narrative but it hasn’t. As long as Adam is still cooking the books and blowing all the companies cash reserves on “theater upgrades” so he has an excuse to dilute; the sinking ship will never get turned around.
@ Not true at all because I would have sold the companies APE for $10 the day it was released and paid off all of AMC’s debt. The board sold their personal shares but didn’t sell the companies shares that day because their goal has always been to keep AMC is debt, bail out short sellers and destroy retail.
@@TK.916 youre dumb man. that some dumb speak. for sure. if they wanted to bail out shorts and destroy retail and literally put amc out of business, all they needed to do was nothing. the split you mention in your comment literally stopped all the thing you clam they wanted to accomplish. do you even brain?
Its a strategy you pick 2 companies same industries long one, short the other the long is used to hedge the short and potentially bankrupt the short and increase market share to the long. AMC is the short CNK is the long the issue is AMC hasn't gone bankrupt and now the institutions are forced to increase postions in both stocks to offset risk which why you see so much dark pool activities in AMC, APE was designed to raised capital and did help the company the reverses split was need to reduce float size of the merged ape and amc also the RS was intended to stimulate retail to sell which would allowed institutions to increase ownership which amc probably wants sense it adds stability to the stock. The forward agreement with GS acts as a call option writen by AMC where amc can generate more money then originally possible with 50mil shares at current prices and prides GS with real shares so when prices rise as GS goes long it guarantees they can cover at low prices mabe 10$ a share since amc forward agree to sell the shares but not obligated to
@@oscarmoreno7269 none of that creates moass or a squeeze. Let alone gets people back to their cost basis unfortunately. Yes it helps the company. And the best we get is we don’t lose 100% of share value with a bankruptcy. But so many people have cost basis above 50-100. They most likely never break even.
@@MarineMikeCheck mannnn same here . Kinda feeling like I shoulda sold during the last run up to 10. What’s your target? I’m honestly trying to get out I hate this play
the only thing that is going to happen is something that will only benefit them and screw retail. If they can keep people from getting money out of AMC, like the moass, they will do that. They don't want people to make money if it hurts AA or GS or AMC. Hard to fight evil when youre playing fair. I'm ready for it to be done as well
Hmmmanother idea. What about cineworld. If they buy them out of bankruptcy that woukd make cinemark alot bigger than amc and they would then get alot bigger slice of the box office money pie just a thought
The ppl jumping in now or a little later will make some mega bucks if it survives. Buying it for 4 dollars and then squeeze to 40 dollars next year would be sick. Someone putting as little as 2500 dollars could be cashing out 25 grand next yr. I think another dilution is near and if that happens it will certainly bring the price down even more. Man, I hate to say it but if it does happen I will have to gamble a little and buy some more because somethiing is brewing. Wouldn't they merge first before going bankrupt? (things that make you go hmmm)
i'm waiting for the next admin to get in and see what happens before i do anything. i think kenny and dougys days are numbered.
Hummmm..... Interesting theory. Somebody is making moves.

im just glad its adam and not YOU running the company or it would have already been put out of business.

AMC 5 billion in debt, who would buy it ?
Almost no one😢
AA makes more money in one year than you will make 10 lifetimes
He thanks the stock holders
Maybe AMC isn't in dept like we think...😅😅

Never give AMC BOD exculpation clause...never. They will definitely try on the next vote...another reason to allow GS to have such a large position?
