One of the best Lyra- soundscapes I’ve ever heard! You nailed the cinematic Dune vibe. Wow - beautiful, haunting, uplifting, dreadful all at once. This is the beautiful dark magic of Lyra-8. That stutter pedal though!! really makes it so much edgier ❤
Beautifully done! I so desperately want both the Lyra-8 and the Cosmos, but ever since the “pandemic” I’ve been wiped out financially. Just before the start of the pandemic in 2019, I finally achieved my career goal of becoming a Film & TV composer, getting my first 3 Feature films for the SyFy Channel… but after film production shut down during the pandemic in 2020, I lost all gig work and burned through all of my savings and credit cards, and am only just now getting back into scoring again and now having to payback all of my debt (sorry for the mini life story, just frustrated that I can’t get what I want these days.)
@@Genshi Sorry to hear that. Getting the gig to score 3 feature films itself is a huge achievement and that opportunity doesn’t often come by easily. The Cosmos is beautiful and well-built but it’s a bit on the larger size though. Lyra is a beast that you don’t want to tame, you ride with it instead 😊 Thank you for watching 🤍
@@angqasa I would like to know, with such a huge amount of pedals do you use a patchbay ? I am far to have as much as you but my setup is growing and I have to think about a more efficient organisation. Actually it is a mess on my desk 😁
@@noiseentropy No, I don’t use a patch bay. Currently I have the pedals running in 3 parallel chains using the Klein Bottle or Tri Parallel Mixer. I agree that using a patch bay opens up the flexibility of reordering the pedals any way you want but I haven’t gotten myself to trying it out yet. Do let me know how it goes for you 😁
