I always felt this was one of Kyle's best songs because he embraces his lower range, which has a LOT of emotion in it. I remember this being the track I jammed the most on the album back in freshman year. It's been so long, and this band has been with me awhile, and I am just now going back to reminisce...
RIP Kyle, we all miss you. This song sounds like it could have been written this week specifically about what we are growing through as a society right now. This world lost an amazing voice for progress when it lost you!

I really hated their last album so I really thought I wouldnt like this one either. I gave the album a listen, I was like meh, not too bad. Then I gave it a few more spins and it really grew on me. Overall I thought this was a really solid album, nice job :)

Furthermore when he says "I'm sorry for the last time , will we take a step in the right direction" makes me feel like he's asking for a loved one(s) for help. Sounds to me like he knows the consequences, and can't stop on his own.
I know I rambled. But ultimately, songs like this band, are what help everyone in their own way. We will never know for sure what these lyrics are about but for me, I hate my past decisions... And I I. Don't do something to change the way I think, and act, it can and will destroy everything..

As i get older; i find i dont like the NU metal as much as the metal of my younger years. Felt the band changed directions after Kyles departure.
