I used to do it too, but if I’m being honest it got to hard taking them to kill plants. I didn’t have the heart anymore, was just sad every time I’d pull in.
You’re be back hauling livestock it’s in your blood, my mate once give it up, sold up remortgage his house 🏠 to buy a pub, that’s all he ever talked about, with in three years bankrupt tax man after him, he went back to hauling livestock......... @calebmanuel17 Yes they weigh the load to verify weight difference from weight on paperwork at time of sale at auction and when delivered to plant. Cattle lose weight from auction time to delivery at plant
@@CattleHauling50 ok when you reach at the plant do bulls go to a different pen and cows go to different pens why does the plant want to keep bulls and cows separate, for example, if you reach the plant late at night the cows pen is super full that ready to process in tomorrow, do you put cows and bulls in bull pen?
@calebmanuel17 If no help is there to separate the cows from bulls as they come off the truck then they go together. When there is help they are separated

I don't think there is any particular difference. The packing plant I hauled for bought all different kinds of cattle and bulls and varied depending what was available the day of sale. Merry Christmas
The only suggestions I can offer which also depends on the area you live is to go to a packing plant near you and ask there. Also check at any sale barns near you if they have any contacts and/or call any cattle hauler companies near you or see on the road. I had a small plant near me that had an open trailer to haul so that's how I got started. Hope that helps
Seems to be a common trend. I hauled my first load of cattle on Tuesday. Had a lot of fun doing it. Why r u hanging it up? I am hearing it’s just not profitable anymore.
