Man, I could listen to you playing those chord progressions all day long: dense, rich, beautiful As a guitarist, I’m never going to get close to this kind of density, but the logic of your process has really opened my eyes to making far more interesting choices…can’t thank you enough. If you add a tip jar, i’ma buy you a beer!
@@hermancharlesserrano1489 Thanks dude! Guitar has some advantage that I personally love like alternate tunings and open string unisons … I’ll do a guitar vs piano vid as I also play guitar. Not really a beer guy but a coffee addidct, ha! Check the link in description and I really appreciate it :)
Thank you so much for this eye opening experience. A lot of stuff on UA-cam is so confusing about reharmonizing chords but you have simplified it and my composition skills have changed in a matter of weeks
All I want to do is be helpful here so I’m so glad you are actually getting value from this stuff. It’s my pleasure and let me know what other kind of videos would be helpful!
@@ChrisCadenhead Absolutely! I would love to know how you approach accompanying singers and whatever concept to keep in mind across genres in that regard.
@@ChrisCadenhead Congrats, Chris!!! OK, I'll stop fanboying that piano sound, LOL. But glad we're on the same page as far as that's concerned. :) Stay musically inspired, keep the fun going!!!
Have you gone through and written out a single pitches, 12 chromatic notes with all chord types but in Roman numerals? That way you wouldn't ever need to write it out again.

This is the video I’ve been waiting for! Thanks man
You got it!

@@SoulStBlues great idea! I have an ooooold video on accompaniment fundamentals that I need to update anyway. Cheers, man!
@@ChrisCadenhead Oh snap I see there in the list. I'm about to check it out. Looking forward to everything else you have coming!
BTW, that piano sound you're playing with, glad to see it in action on your videos! ;)
@@davidlai1996 hey David! It’s the main character for the foreseeable future haha
@@ChrisCadenhead Ha, it's a keeper on my system for sure!!! Happy for you, too. It sounds so, for the lack of a better word, real!!! :)
@@davidlai1996 yes it does! Now that I have a continuous sustain pedal and tweaked the velocity curve it’s quite the joy to play
