Let me share something beautiful. At least, to me. I am a 40 year old man. I used to be a student from Pune. I used to know Rushad, the bassist. I had a band. He had his own band. We d practice in the same place for rehearsals for our concerts. Vishal Dadlani would come down to Pune. Pentagram. Their repoirtoire consists of songs from acdc, ratm. What a time it was.. listening to this song brings back beautiful memories. I dedicate this beautiful song to my son who just turned 5 ..❤❤❤❤❤I m a North-eastern by the way..

I was listening to this song x amount of times. I loved the sound when I listened to it the first time. I am not Indian. This song was on the radio when I went to work in India, it was on the radio when I went to dinner with friends in India and it was on the radio when I went to the beach with my Indian friends. They taught me the lyrics and I sang along after I finally learnt the lyrics! It is still one of my favorite songs made in India. Even after such a long time.

I was always a coke studio Pakistan fan and when coke studio MTV india started it was a bit disappointing with its first season. So i randomly checked coke studio MTV after 2 years and BANG!!!!! vishals singing and clinton's music composition...India's coke studio made a great come back.... love from Pakistan...
Pak coke studio is way ahead of Indian one due to lack of film industry in pakistan .No music director wants to give their best compositions in coke studio of India coz they save them for movies but Pakistan has like no movie industry.so door opens only in coke studio. Whereas in India only 3rd grade composers give their best compositions in coke.
manjeet singh well Pakistan is somehow trying to come back in movies... lets hope we get to see some quality work from both the sides ...thats all what i want from both the countries...and apart from that i believe its a good thing to see coke studio providing a platform to your ''not-very-famous-yet-talented'' people to bring some really good work... Some good movies came recently but they have poor compositions.Even they used indisn top singers like kailash Kher,Kumar SANU,shreya ghoshal to attract Indian audience but still flopped. suppose if top songs used in coke studio were used for movies than what would be the result? manjeet singh Well said. One point is what you said that music directors, due to their busy schedule and business, dont spend enough time to arrange good music for Coke Studio.
Second is that India still has still fixation for Big names and templated Punjabi club mixes that no one is ready for anything new.
One thing strength that Coke Studio India has more than the Pakistan one is that it has more regional diversity and genres of music. But its not tapping this potential at all.
The Coke Studio India is yet to explore Hindustani bhajans / South Indian classical/folk music and NE folk songs to its full. When this is done, people will see the best. Until then it will be redundant.
