Sankoo Taisuru observed a complete shutdown today in a push for district status.
The bandh, which stretched from Parkachik to Trespone, was organized by the United Movement for Sankoo District Status. Local businesses, schools, and public transportation were largely shut down as residents participated in the protest to press their demands.
The peaceful strike was a show of unity and determination from the people of the region, emphasizing their strong desire for the creation of a separate district.
