Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

what if someone chooses OP boat and someone builds car?
Idea : you 3 should do an overpowered spaceship battle. It would be similar to overpowered blimp but with faster movement speed (in space). I love the image of a massive battle ship facing 2 small ships trying to destroy it.

Challenge Suggestion: (Day 3)
Broadside Challenge:
Build dogfighting planes, however all their guns must be facing sideways. Bonus challenge is using gunpowder cannons.
Y'all should do a video with helicopters that have to pick up a car, (driven by a player), with anchor blocks and carry them to like a "home base" to score points. It would be so the helicopters can only fight each other when the car is off the ground.
Adding onto this- There could be a mini competition on who could stay uncaptured as the car for the longest, alternatively you could find a way to make it "cars vs helicopters" with a similar principal but idk how to do that one.
Next you should make a aircraftcarrier
You already know you guys have to do a land version of this bc you did air and now sea, next you have to do tanks or a land vehicle

Oh wow with the way incognito was going I thought for sure he would win! Scrap and Yzuei weren't able to keep up pressure and the Shields kept coming back, but that instant disconnect was just straight unlucky
This was epic. I really wanted to see a restart of the battleship battle after it was discovered that ScrapMan and Yzuei were on the same team... but what I really want to see now is battleship vs airship... find a fourth player and do 2v2. I also want to see the battleship and airship on the Steam workshop; once I get my new PC up and running, I'll be finally playing Trailmakers and these are exactly the kinds of creations I plan to be building.

You should try some more challenges on the high seas map. It’ll be interesting with all the wind!
Idea: Gun powered planes/cars do a dogfight or race and just see what mayhem occurs.

It’d be fun if you did a “swat the fly” version of this. Someone builds a really nimble car/boat/plane, and the others have to build something capable of catching it and disabling it
The fact you guy can make vehicles this good with limitations is amazing to me who can barely make a vehicle that functions without limiting myself.
The whole battle ship I think was a great idea. Another variation of it, that you guys could do. would be to do more of a gally ship for the battle and use two or three deck high of the black powder cannons, so no auto aim. the other boats could be other gally ships, so everyone makes their own with their own aesthetic OR you do smaller dinghy and maybe us a more modern cannon.
Between you three, you totally could make some kind of overpowered stationary automated turret-like thing, right? Just something that when it senses something within a proximity, it turns on and starts blasting......in no particular direction, just all over. I think making something like that and then you guys are in "micro vehicles" trying to either tag or get under the kind of aimless "centurion" bot would be a fun one. Like you could have distance sensors on the bottom to detect if someone or the ground is close up and if it is, TNT explodes in it disabling it. Basically, it's a deathrun for you guys and it's complete chance whether or not you can win. Just equip the thing with blasters and mini guns that spin around it and black powder cannons that fire upwards and out that also rotate around it so if you can get past the explosions, you've then got to run the gauntlet of minigun and blaster fire only to make it to the overpowered bot to be blown up.
I mean you guys get no weapons, but I guess you can have a tractor beam to carry "shields or something akin to it and you're limited to a single ground based engine (as in you can't use thrusters or jets or balloons) and up to let's say 50 parts and no limitation on complexity? Absolutely no weapons, including spawners, but that'll be the challenge. You guy's vs a "boss"-like battle.
Hello scrapman! I have a challenge, the premise of the challenge is everyone builds a build and everyone uses the same build in battle. Kind of like you do at the end of the video in the winning vehicle. It forces you to build towards your strength as a pilot and gaining an competitive edge over the opponent in whatever direction you deem.
Wicked challenge! I just feel like you should estimate a respawn/repair delay. So you can just do quick repairs plus it gives the defender a real chance to last!
It's time to evolve the Overpowered series! We've had land, sea and air...Now we must go to space! Overpowered Death Star vs Two Rebel Dogfighters. Bonus points if the Death Star has dynamite buried somewhere inside the build. :3

Another Idea popped into my head while watching your EMP battles though I don't know if it would work.
EMP Submarines / Boats.
The idea of the EMP's effecting the adjustable buoyancy blocks making you less or more buoyant as you fight. I also don't think you have ever done a Pure Sub battle since the latest updates.

Overpowered ship vs. planes sounds like a great idea! Maybe even allow the complexity mod to be used to make the "overpowered" ship even more overpowered.

This is really cool! I think you should check out From The Depths! It's a vehicle building game with an RTS style campaign, an Adventure mode campaign, and multiplayer! There's a steep learning curve, but I'm sure you could suss it out! Great work otherwise, keep it up!

Giant OP Man-of-War battle on high seas would be pretty cool! Likely with the large cannon instead of gunpowder so you still have some aim assist. I love the pirate/sailing ship builds so I'd honestly love to see that. :>
i wish trailmakers would have a piercing on the tank cannons, that would make some neat challenges like having battlehips but with a payload of dynamite in the middle
You guys should do subscriber war. You design a couple of vehicles within agreed upon limits and bunch of each of your subscribers pilot them based on a raffle. To make it fun you guys all sit in over powered mother ships that serve as a the spawn point for your subscribers. (So, no repairs just backspace back to spawn you've chosen.)
you should do a battle where it's an overpowered air plane, but the attackers build wingless planes (controllable missiles) and only do damage with mele since you get infinite repairs
You should play a couple rounds where you make creations and have other players play them for the challenge, you get a point if you win, and you also get a point if your creation wins.

Commenting before the building really started, I think a very wide catamaran style boat with the connections between both sides under water would give the biggest chance to not get destroyed instantly on approach.
Day 2 of asking for a dogfight plane battle, but you use your opponents plane, and your opponent uses yours
Idea: I would love to see 2 small military cars versus a giant tank with lots of armor and shields. Limitations for small vehicles: 100 blocks, like this time. 2 cannons and 2 miniguns. The rest is up to you.

You should do a race where the only movement is mini guns 4 or 6 and you only get 2 emps also only a 300 block limit. Just an idea😅
Overpowered carrier ship vs fighter ships in the space map. The fighters must defend their space station (Gallina 9) before the enemy breaches the docking platform!
I think the obvious next evolution of this is to do cars VS an overpowered train on like the airborne map

Since you seem to keep doing videos on overpowered vehicles, do one on overpowered tanks, have everyone build a max complexity tank and battle it out to see who has the best tank!

you should do a boat battle on the high seas
Have a triathlon where you make a plane/car/boat, fly across the map, disconnect your wings, drive to a checkpoint, disconnect your wheels then boat to the finish line
How about an overpowered coastal base that hooks to the ground, and then make sail boats to attack it!
idea: dogfight but someone is on the ground in an emp turret, last person flying wins, turret has infinite repairs and planes have 2
You should do a 2v2 where each team has a blimp and each blimp has to be able to hold a biplane. The catch is that the planes will have to have limited fuel and return to the blimp to refuel. Each plane needs to first take down the enemy plane, and then the enemy blimp in order to win.
Idea: volume battle. Build a volume (or area) wise big creation (air-, space-, battleship, plane, car) and battle each other or small creations. I liked the overpowers airship and battleship. The battleship didn't look that much bigger than the attack ships.
I don't know how to make rules for it. Use at least 20 big 4x8 panels and 600plus complexity? (with rules for small use of complex parts like wheels)

What about an overpowered challenge but there are explosives in one spot on the powerful vehicle. I guess that essentially turns the overpowered vehicle into the Death Star from Star Wars; one weakness.

Here is an idea, you build jets or planes of a kind, use a limited or set amount of guns but use them to propel you through the air but also the only way to take others out. No shields or extensive protection for easy rounds.
Bonus round is unlimited guns on winners ufo
Overpowered submarine fight and the overpowered underwater plane that fly's in the water vs submarines
An overpowered space station/mothership vs small space fighters
(On the space map, of course)

What about an evolution style of it, where you have a lot of limitations that gradually gets removed each round

How about reverse roles: Challenge for a ship to defend against standard attacker, but the attacker is manned torpedo?
You could do a fight in which you have to build a battleship each that has to fight in three rounds, in water, air and space without modifications between rounds.
Now have a big battleship battle, with no brick limit, but a power core limit of like 50 ish

I have a video idea for mm where you and yuzi have to build a plain or a car but the challenge is once you place a block you can’t take it away it will be stuck there but you can use as many of the same block as you want
Hmm... what about an overpowered *fortress?* Without worrying about movement, the fortress player could put all their focus into aiming, and without mobility, it could be super tough with lots of 4x8 blocks and shield blocks and shields. Put it on top of a mountain for planes to assault, or in a canyon and let the others choose whether to bring a ground vehicle or a plane...

Melee vehicle battle with the only form of push/trust is the recoil from guns. Basically ramming each other but the only way you can move is with recoil
