@@JarthatonDonner All right so, Established Titles claim that you can legally be referred to as a Lord or Lady by buying their services, including purchasing a small plot of land in Scotland. However, none of those purchases are recognized by the Lord Lyon King of Arms of Scotland, which is the office that keeps track of titles and land ownership. Additionally, owning land in Scotland also does not give you the right to call yourself a Lord or Lady. Established Titles, more or less, just sells you a souvenir land. It’s registered and tabulated with the Company, but not at all with any official jurisdiction. Furthermore, even if you bought land in Scotland the size of what Established Titles sell, you can’t register it that easily. The land registry explicitly does not allow you to register land that small (Established titles sell land that is around a square meter or foot). Think about it, if land guaranteed you the right to call yourself a lord, there’d be hundreds of thousands of them in Scotland. In all, Established Titles does nothing but give you a fancy certificate saying that you’re a Lord or Lady, which has no legal binding. Established Titles, Muta can you maybe look a little closer at this sponsor? I think you should be sure they are doing what they say they are and not just scamming people out of their money.
Pretty decent guide Muta, the only criticism I can come up with is lack of validation of the Tor browser binaries with pgp as it greatly improves privacy and security and can be quite daunting for new users. Also I'd recommend pointing people over to Kenny's video (Mental Outlaw) for the general best practices for browsing and using Tor.
You need to be safer... Then immediately he pushes a scam onto you (well, not reeeeally, but really), because he gets a cut. My takeaway is the "Safe container". I'll remember that.
I used to think this is a decent channel to get security advice. Damn was I wrong. 1. Drive encryption is NOT going to save you. As long as the virtual OS can access decrypted content in that partition, it's NOT going to be safe at all. Just use VIRTUAL drives (e.g. native VMDK or VDI) and DISABLE file sharing (INCLUDING clipboard sharing if you have VM tools installed). Moreover, simple reverse engineering will be able to recover the symmetric key anyway, allowing the attackers to easily dump the whole partition. This is the EXACT reason why saving passwords in your browser is an abysmally horrible idea. 2. Remove any virtual devices you will not use in the VM. Having more APIs showing up in the VM equals larger attack surfaces. 3. If you'd like to use virtual machines to do all the stuff, SEPERATE the ones for sketchy stuff and the ones for normal operations that touch sensitive data. NEVER allow the sketchy ones access ANY of your private data. Do NOT mix them! Mixing them literally has no difference from blowing up your host OS with malware. The only way to lower the risk of getting hit is to think like an attacker and find countermeasures. Do some reverse-engineering stuff and you'll find it more clear.
Quick thing about maximizing windows: doesn't the Tor browser have "letterboxing" now that essentially keeps the site at a fixed resolution even if you maximize the window?
It's a scam. Legally cannot be recognized as a lord or lady and the plots are so small that no one can legally own them. So you're pretty much paying for a piece of paper and a pretend title.
@@obsidianflight8065 yes we're sure, the company is not even registered in the UK its Hong Kong based. The size of the plot of land you're being "Sold" to is too small to even register for ownership so you can't really legally be the owner of the plot of land you just "bought" oh and the trees they're promising to "plant" well? That area is already a nature reserve so it doesn't really matter does it. These type of scams rely on people impulsive behavior like impulse buying, but if you stopped, googled it and examined the fine prints carefully these scams unravel pretty quickly. Save the $50 you're about to throw to the wind into this shaddy Chinese company, please just buy something nice instead treat yourself to something nice.

I'm surprised *this* was the sponsorship that did it for you.
@@appalachiabrauchfrau Dude this whataboutism argument is hurting my brain and it's retarded logic. Established Titles is a cold dead scam, and everyone advertising it on UA-cam for money is also scamming people by claiming you actually get a plot of land and a legal title of Lord or Lady. That's LITERALLY false advertising. There are worse sponsorships, yes, but there are good ones. Raycons and VPNs like NordVPN are good sponsorships, I know, I've used both, had little to no issues. Stop making it out like everything is sketchy and therefore should be ignored when a sponsor is legitimately sketchy.
Learned my lesson about updating Chrome just recently the hard way. Cost me all my social media presence. At least no money was lost, although they did try.
I don't know how much I trust that lordship thing. If it's for environmental conservation, that's fine, but I don't think that's how lordship works. I'm not blaming Muta for accepting a sponsorship, but that one looks more like a charity with a weird gimmick. If someone smarter than me reads this, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Establishes Titles has been a known scam for a long time, basically all you're getting is a piece of paper for 50 dollars. This is the second time Muta's accepted a sponsorship from them, and last time a lot of people were pointing it out. Hope he notices this time.
The titles Lord and Lady are not the same as Laird, even though Laird is the same word as Lord in Scotland. A Laird is a land owner, a Lord is an official title enabling many things including allowing the holder to attend the House of Lords. Sounds confusing, but Lord and Lady are titles given by the English Monarchy, and legally you can only become such by being given it by the Monarchy, inheriting, marrying into it or very very rarely an estate will come up for sale with the title included (Many many millions of Pounds £) The reality of these titles with plot of land, usually 1ft by 1ft is that the title of Laird is a fun thing and the plot of land is not legally owned by you as it's too small to be registered in the Scottish land registry. So although you're 'buying' it from the landowner, you can't do anything with it. This may change in the future but as of now it's still not possible. You could if you want, change your name by deed poll to Laird Tu'Shan if you wanted to change officially with your bank or other official institutions, but your original title would still stand, so you'd be Mr/Mrs/Ms/Mx Laird Tu'Shan for example. They are great gifts and a lot of them really do help out charities and do a lot of good for the environment and are a bit of fun. I do wish more UA-camrs would look into it before blindly stating things. I've no problem with the sponsorships.
@@LucasPerson like I said, I’m not mad at him, but I think there are sponsorships that actually provide decent services like skillshare (I assume) or audible. I am glad that other people questioned him on it though.
@@MessyBoots. This won't even make anyone a Laird. These are souvenir plots, too small for the Land Register of Scotland. You are legally buying nothing. This particular lordship scam is run from Hong Kong, and other than two logos and their word, there's no evidence they actually do anything for the environment. There are other lordship scams that actually do, but they have other problems.

You need to be safer... Then immediately he pushes a scam onto you (well, not reeeeally, but really), because he gets a cut.
My takeaway is the "Safe container". I'll remember that.
i like how all these dark web rumors exist but I have yet to see any of them actually be proven true.
Then why don't you risk it and figure out yourself the hard way?
@@Nottinertv because in reality its all just cops posting fake shit to capture people. not worth
I've learned so much about computers and VMs by watching your videos, and it's turning out to be incredibly useful with today's internet climate.
Good guy Muta always protecting us.
Not with that sponsor
Saint of Virtual Machine
as a Scot myself ngl that company reeks of scam to me
established titles is no more stupid than NFTs muta....i get it its money but you gotta have respect for yourself and fans.
Tyvm man. I've known about virtual machine but never knew how to implement one.
Muta: click this link to become a lord!
Also Muta: be safer dum dums!
this is what I needed in life - another mutahar VM tutorial
Title: I Need You To Be Safer...
Sponsorship: *Established Titles*
Me: Is this a test?
Quick thing about maximizing windows: doesn't the Tor browser have "letterboxing" now that essentially keeps the site at a fixed resolution even if you maximize the window?
Can't believe anyone's still shilling Established Titles. Guess people love paying for literally nothing.
That plot idea at the beginning sounds like an awesome idea. Like seriously? Imagine an entire forest by the people for the people.
it''s an scam, literally not a registered company :/
It's a scam. Legally cannot be recognized as a lord or lady and the plots are so small that no one can legally own them.
So you're pretty much paying for a piece of paper and a pretend title.
@@tamamichan1431 are you sure
@@obsidianflight8065 yes we're sure, the company is not even registered in the UK its Hong Kong based.
The size of the plot of land you're being "Sold" to is too small to even register for ownership so you can't really legally be the owner of the plot of land you just "bought" oh and the trees they're promising to "plant" well? That area is already a nature reserve so it doesn't really matter does it.
These type of scams rely on people impulsive behavior like impulse buying, but if you stopped, googled it and examined the fine prints carefully these scams unravel pretty quickly.
Save the $50 you're about to throw to the wind into this shaddy Chinese company, please just buy something nice instead treat yourself to something nice.
nice reference to I, robot
Muta - established titles is a scam. You dont get any land, or any legally recognised titles. All you get is a piece of paper with your name on it. Please dont promote them
Thanks babe. Will do.
I wish I had someone to look at me the way Mutahar looks at the camera when he's making his thumbnails.

Thank you Muta..

Gracias
every morning i wake up i update my laptop and pc for windows updates and also the other apllications and also my phone and when i get to work I make sure the software is new as well
Mutahar saying to be careful and having an established titles sponsorship is ironic.
> use google
> have security
Pick one
Oh Muta, you just undid every bit of trust with that sponsorship.
doesnt seem like you had very much trust
@@obsidianflight8065 actually I did, but sponsored by a site that sells land and titles that hold no legal weight while comparing them to NFTs backed by something real....that's next level cognitive dissonance.
@@sammyfromsydney everyone knows you don't actually own the land, you're just paying to have a dumb certificate, it's like naming a star. The nft thing was an obvious joke. I get the sentiment but he's already done sponsorships for garbage like those earpods, he does them for vpn services that are trash tier and he's done them for phone games iirc.
@@LethalByChoice Well if you look at the latest video, I think you'll find my views have been validated. Good on Muta for taking responsibility.
@@MessyBoots. that’s actually very interesting. Thanks for the in depth comment.
Brings back memories of when TOR first came out and everyone on 4chan was making memes about _Maximizing TOR Browser FTW_
Look Out for your sponsorship ... DYOR about established titles
Thanks for wanting us to be safer Muta
How much safer can Muta possibly make us??
