GM Loco No. 146 startup - Downpatrick - 6th May 2013

Here we see the Irish Traction Group's loco No. 146 being started up on the morning of Monday, 6th May 2013. She was used for shunting of empty stock and various locos before the start of steam operations with O&K No. 1.
Part of the sequence shows Norman manually turning over the engine. This is done to ensure that there's no water settled in there, as the loco hadn't been used for a while. TLC indeed! Stand back and cover your ears for the startup inside the shed!
