Cheers Ross. The north coast has been the best so far. I genuinely enjoyed the 1st 100 miles to be honest. The most varied if the path.

Really enjoyed watching your SW Coast path videos, like your commentary. I will look forward to viewing your other stuff.

Thanks Richard. To be honest I made more of an effort to learn how to edit and make videos for the coast path. The Lake District stuff is an old camera and a bit ruff and ready.

Another great video mate. I’ve been knocking it off a few days at a time and I’ve got to Padstow so far. My favourite part of the walk was the first bit! I loved Minehead to Hartland Point (less the flat estuary part around Barnstaple which I skipped!)

I completely agree. Minehead to Hartland point def my favourite part. Port Issac to Padstow is lovely and flat on the whole.

Oh that was a lovely walk. And thank you for sharing. We walked there in July last summer in the high temperatures. But we parted it in two and stayed overnight in Mawnan Smith. I enjoyed walking around Gillan Creek. It really felt like a jungle sometimes so I am not surprised that it actually is a rainforest. I didn't know that. You were smart skipping the first direction of the diversion at Nare Point. We walked as direced and after the farm we had to negotiate a very narrow path with a barley field on the left leg and stinging nettles on the right leg 😂

Last July was very hot. I was in the coast path for 3 weeks in July and gave up after 2. Just got too hot and no matter how many drinks I bought it was never enough. It was north Devon that was the rain forest area. But Gillian creek was a lovely detour.

@@an9636 Yes very hot. I drank about 3 litres of water daily. And of course some electrolytes. We had prebooked and paid all accommodation plus trains back to Heathrow and flight home to Norway. There was no way we could cancel 😅 But about rain forests; I have heard that there is some rainforsty woods along Frenchman's Creek near Helford 🙂 I have only walked from Westward Ho! and Soutn/West towards Cornwall on the North Devon coast, and I guess the rain forests must be North/East of that area.

@@TravellingTorunn Helford was a really lovely area. Not much to see or do but really peaceful when I was there. One of the best parts of south Cornwall. Fowey and Polperro also. The rest I wasn’t so keen on. South Cornwall wasn’t as enjoyable as the north coast. But most people say the north coast is better than the south.
