Btw, I also loved seeing your behind the scenes of your doll room! Thank you for being so transparent with everything! I’m also hoping to create a dollhouse too. And I need to figure out shelving for the dolls.
I love decluttering and organization videos, it's nice to see a dolls version. Watching this motivated me to do some more decluttering with doll stuff :) I look forward to future declutter videos.
I already have a short vid idea that I got when I was going back through and straightening up all the wigs..trying to decide if I want them to become weekly vids or not since I really don't want to stretch out the decluttering that far..lol.
Refreshing. Glad you clarified that if things are organized it’s not hoarding. 1 strategy that might work is pick an area in a room & work your way around in a clockwise pattern.
I think some people use the word hoarder too lightly, there are very specific areas and ways things are done that determine if its considered hoarding or just a cluttered space. Hoarders tend to keep everything meaning trash and what not and have a unhealthy attachment to things that typically you would not think to hang onto. I'm sure there are definitely different levels and I haven't researched to that point. But there is a big difference between someone who collects as a hobby and someone who is keeping possessions in a disorganized manner that prevents them from using rooms for their intended purpose. Anyway thank you for your comment. And yes I do have a tendency to start in one spot and work my way around unless there is something specific that I just want to declutter quickly.
@@MsKittyBlue yup; agree I think there is a world of difference between hoarding & collecting. It’s less important that you might have a lot. It’s your mindset around what you have & that it is a conscious accumulation of things that bring you joy as opposed to hanging on to things because you have a fear of letting go of things that don’t serve any purpose. Heather Aardema puts out stuff on declutterring too.😉
Oof me too! But this is the year, for me at least, to finally accomplish it in full. I'm being more careful about what I'm purchasing and letting in my house to take up more space..lol. Which reminds me of another point that I forgot to mention about new item in, old item out I'll have to add that to a new vid.
I always enjoy your videos ❤thx
I really needed this video as I’m just getting started creating my doll room in my new home! Thank you for the tips!!! 💕🙏
