I love this woman. I say that EVERY time I hear one of her songs. "Billions" is one of my favorite songs, not just of hers but in general. I love to write and this song gives me so much inspiration and makes me want to write something new every time I hear it. It definitely touches my heart.
She deserves to be topping the charts. All the crap you hear in the chart now just singing (If you can call it singing) about a load of crap when her lyrics actually mean something and connect with her audience. Her voice range is AMAZING she has such control and her emotion shows through when she performs. Thanks for uploading this by the way I was gutted I missed it
i feel like she has been slept on for so long. She is dope just the way she was originally presented and timing probably was before her time. I hope she sticks with it and doesn't stop! she is dope!
I seriously dream of having a voice like JoJo, Leah, and Christina Aguilera (sorry, I know off topic)..their voices are amazing and to sound like them would be amazing and awesome! I think JoJo sounds amazing this way then being in a sound where they fix her voice and what not! This girl just keeps getting better and better! it's amazing!
Shes got natural born talent. Shes had an amazing voice even at a young age. I love how shes flexible and able to sing with people of a lesser caliber and still effortlessly carry the entire song. I think based on skill alone she could bury every last one of these Disney whores. Besides her obvious talent she carries herself with great dignity which is so rare in this day and age. Shes wonderful to listen to and someone I can actually respect. Keep it up girl! We're rooting for you!!!
are you talking about the whistletone-like notes? I've rarely heard her do those live even when she was younger. The few times I've heard her do it is when the key was dropped slightly so they aren't as high. Women's voices do deepen with age, and her voice has gotten noticeably deeper, so she probably just isn't confident on notes like that, regardless of whether or not she can hit them cause I'm sure she can when warmed up and healthy enough.
Thanks, I think it's because of the warm-up yeah... sometimes I can do more notes when I warm up, when I don't I simply hit a top limit. Really makes sense... :)
