Awesome, fun card! I'll have to try this technique after rewatching your video! Lots of details and dimension to your card! A very lucky person to receive this card! Thanks for sharing!🐶🐱💕
Karolyn, you give such great tutorials, but my brain is now oozing out through my ears! LOL I actually made one of this type of card before, based on a different tutorial. I can't remember now what I did exactly, but I did take the extra steps to adhere the back(?) flap to the rest of the card, because I noticed the card could be opened all the way out, which in my opinion, kind of ruined the magic. I do remember I had to use foam tape to do so, and it took a few tries to get the tape placed right so it didn't interfere with the mechanism. I think some strategic trimming of the "slider" piece was involved, too. Anyway, I may have to try this sort of card again. Thanks for sharing, & have a wonderful day! :)
Have a relative going through cancer can't wait to make and send her one of these cards. Don't have the stamps you are using but have ones that will work. Or I can use the July card kit!
So freaking adorable!!! I love these animal stamps and sentiments. And bringing in the old style instamatic picture frames is one of the coolest things ever. Between those and designing these magical card dies is the next best thing since sliced bread. They are just, for a better word, entertaining. Open & close, open & close. The only thing missing is sound and they're probably working on that right now. You did an amazingly awesome job on this card! I LOVE IT❣ God bless ❤ XOXO
I love how simple this idea is! It is refreshing to see an interactive card that anyone can do and that you do not need an expensive die set for! Excellent!!
You always make such cute cards (with AMAZING step by step instructions) and challenge us to get out of our card making box. The recipient's are always blessed as well! Thank you!
Thank you! I got the stamps and sas trying it out this Card technic where I failed was trying to positionne the opening on an angle. And maybe not have y enough Card stock. Also thank you for the adhering tipsrof releasing only part of the tape backing. Yes I’m new at card making 😊
Your card is so adorable! I love how you colored the cute dogs and cats. Thanks for sharing the dimensions for each of the panels, and showing how the card goes together. I definitely want to try this. :)
I love everything from My Favorite Things, and really appreciate your fantastic and informative videos! You spark so much inspiration and I can't wait to try it for myself. Thanks for sharing your imagination and creativity with all of us, and for including the measurements!
Awesome video....It was a little confusing with all the inside, back, front, but overall it was an awesome video and I can't wait to try it...Can you post a tutorial on how to cut the frame if you don't have the polaroid die set to cut it out with? I'm sure it can be done with a square die set...but having a tutorial would be awesome and a sure way not to mess up.
This is adorable!! I can think of a few of my friends that would love to receive this card!! I'll have to try this and thanks for the instructions om video!! :}
This is such a cute card... I have several of these stamp sets in my Wish List waiting for stock. I think this card is genius as well... so creative and so useful. I love animals, and especially pooches and kitties with pooches being my favorite (I have two... LOL). Thank you for sharing. I tried the link to the Teflon Square Bone Folder but it doesn't work... doesn't appear that MFT stocks bone folders at all. Am I missing something on the MFT site?
HELP PLEASE!!!! I THINK I just finished making this card but I'm confused about the back side of the card. From the front, everything looks fine, but if I hold the card up while I open it, the whole backside flops open, unfolding into sort of an upside down T. Is that right? I can't figure out a way to secure the back flap--everything I've tried seems to stop the 2nd image (cats) from popping into place. I wanted to use this card for my card swap group at the end of this month. Thank you!
Btw, y'all need to change the link to your blog in the video description. It should go to www.mftstamps.com/blogs/news. Currently, it goes to www.mftstamps.com/blog/, & returns a 404 error. Just thought you'd want to know. :)
What a neat and adorable card! Have this stamp set! Now I have another idea to take this stamp set and make another type of card. Thanks!
I have made 2 of theses kinds of cards in the past...so fun. Love the fun images you used and the polaroid dies.
Amazingly cute! Love those critters! And the white plaid on the turquoise cardstock is gorgeous!
What a fantastic card - and I already have all those stamps and dies! I'm trying that for sure, thanks so much!
