I ve made these, and they are delicious. My son who hates cauliflower ate and enjoyed these. And asked me to make them another night ! I call that a great success .
My kids love Buffalo chicken Wings.. so I tried this for a healthy version and would you believe they loved it and actually asked me to make again. So Moms give it a try with kids too.
That's yum 😋. On the flour - a combination of chickpea and any kind of rice flours usually work great for me for similar recipes. You can also add a couple tbsp. corn starch for a super crunchy bite
Omg awesome can't wait to try it.you should try it with a cauliflower patty (just cut the head in half and slice it in slices) and get a bun and add whatever toppings and condiments and pile it up. I'm a vegetarian so I've did it before but never made the bites like this. But on the burger I used ranch, with lettuce, onion, tomato with baked homemade fries . You should do that as a clean & delicious version for a lunch or light dinner.
WOW!!! This would be a great snack for people like me who struggles with diabeties. I have also just had heart bypass done in January so I;m thinking about that also. Thank you for sharing. I think I am going to like you just fine, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Thank you so much for this tasty cauliflower recipe. I don't really like cauliflower but I made this recipe and ate the whole pan by myself. It was really good. Cauliflower is now my new best friend.
Steamfresh makes these and I love them. The salt&vinegar potatoes and sriracha green beans are also good. They have more, just haven't tried them yet. Really good for being frozen food(no batter, you steam the bag)
Made these on Superbowl Sunday - they are CRAZY DELICIOUS! Amazing how cauliflower florets can take on the texture and taste of actual chicken wings - without the guilt! So good! Your recipes rock Dani! Thanks so much and keep them coming.
Very nice thanks; I make these often, I use about 70-30 rice flower & corn starch (gluten free) = very crispy, seasoning I use a mild Indian curry powder; I roast them in my air fryer, toss in mix of Frank's Hot Sauce & olive oil
watching this just now. In India we have cauliflower pakora. It uses chickpea flour (besan). Its gluten free and has a delicious nutty flavor. Could be baked or fried. I think that would be a great combination with the buffalo sauce. Will definitely try this. Thanks for the recipe.
I saw the video this morning and had a lot of cauliflower so made this recipe for Saturday evening snack. I followed the recipe as is but forgot the butter part, so added 1 tbsp oil with the hot sauce and it came out delicious. Absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@donnamccullough1375 Just made this with almond flour. The taste is good but the batter doesn't crisp. Perhaps I put too much.... But it was good. Not a disaster at all.
I love recipes like this that are 'accidently' vegan! Cauliflower has a very neutral taste and works well, but I think broccoli would be terrible personally.
Thank you for the recipe, I tried it today but I boiled the Cauliflower in water and salt for few minutes, and after dipping it in the flour patter, I deep fried them. They came out really good.
I'm thinking if you added a bit of cornstarch in place of a little of the flour it might be crispier all over. I am going to try this recipe. Looks yummy!
My daughter and I made these tonight. Delicious! 😋 We made half with Frank’s hot sauce and the other half with bbq sauce. They both came out great. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
Dani! I made these last night and they are amazing! A little salty (next time, I will lower the salt) but delicious! Instead of using the Frank's "original" i used the Franks' "buffalo" and noticed that the latter is higher in sodium. Also, I would recommend baking the bites right away once the cauliflower has been covered in the batter. Letting it rest while you prep your second pan of cauliflower will form a small "pool of batter" and bake this way.
The reason for the butter is so the sauce sticks to the cauliflower. You can use oil if you are a vegan. You do need to use a butter or oil for the sauce to stick. Great recipe came out great!! Thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I love finger foods like buffalo chicken but looks like this will give me the best part of it (the crisp and buffalo flavor) in a healthy way. I can’t wait to try it!
Hey Dani! I'm from Calgary, Canada. I watch SO many cooking channels, mostly vegan ones. I'm not vegan, but I find that's where I get most of my healthy recipe ideas from. I just wanted to tell you that your channel is my favourite. I think you're so fun to watch. You have such a great attitude, you're fun and funny, and you have such a passion for what you do! Keep it up, I always look forward to you videos!
G’day from Australia! My name is Terry Anderson. We have lots of cauliflower growing in our garden right now so I was looking for something different to do with them. So thank you very much for going to the trouble of making that video and we will definitely make your recipe very soon. One thing I noted. I really like the fact that you credited the original authors of the recipe and put your own slant on it, very honourable and I really like that. And for that reason alone I’m very happy to subscribe to your channel.
This is so awesome. I think I will make these with corn starch. I am from Pittsburgh. My favorite Super Bowl Snack would be soft tortillas filled with veggies and shredded chicken.
The butter adds flavor, and tames the Franks Red Hot. So the more butter you use, the less HOT they will be, but you’ll still have that great Franks flavor. I think I’ll try these with some oat flour. :)
I'm from the East Coast I love blue cheese live in the Midwest now still love blue cheese that looks so good I'm gonna send my daughter to the store to get me some cauliflower
I just made and ate this tonight, it was delicious! The only slight problem I had was that my batter was a bit thin, using the amount of water you specified. My cauliflower did stick a lot to my baking tray and I missed out on some of the crispy bits because of that. But all in all a delicious result. I'll know to use a bit less water next time. Will definitely make again. Thanks so much for sharing. Best wishes from London UK xxx
Gonna try this, sounds awesome! I am from North Alabama. I have a great side item when grilling out called grilled polenta with parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper.
I’ve been doing it the long way...lol... I drop my florets into boiling water for 2 minutes then ice them .....(blanched) Then I double dip them in my batter and feed fry them in Canola Oil and then toss in my buffalo sauce But I’ll be trying this
I am from India presently in Brisbane Australia, Just I want to make some recipe in califlower your recipe is good and you explained very well. It is very easy to do.Thanks
Hello this is AJ, single dad from Southern California. Not much of a cook but my daughter loves when I make your recipes. Thank you

I've made this 4 times since February. i'm now in love with cauliflower buffalo wings. 😋
Ha! Love that!
these were delicious, I made them and my family loved it, my son thought it was boneless wing bites
Amazing!!
That's awesome
I love your recipe...
My kids love Buffalo chicken Wings.. so I tried this for a healthy version and would you believe they loved it and actually asked me to make again. So Moms give it a try with kids too.
Was Franks too hot for your kids?
Hi that's great to know will try for my picky son lol.
That's yum 😋. On the flour - a combination of chickpea and any kind of rice flours usually work great for me for similar recipes. You can also add a couple tbsp. corn starch for a super crunchy bite
if you freeze the cauliflour with batter on and put them direct in the over without defrosting
they end up super crispy
Ooooh yum thanks for the tip!!
aroob fatima I am gonna do that
aroob fatima Thank you, tried it and they were so yummy! Great tip!
aroob fatima i
Do you mean that at the 6:45 mark, I place the sheet in the freezer till frozen?

Yum! Thanks for the suggestion.
We're eating them right now and can't stop. They're tremendous! I'm glad I doubled the recipe. Thank you so much!
I just cooked these and they were Amazing!!!! Thank you so much for all of your recipes!
WOW!!! This would be a great snack for people like me who struggles with diabeties. I have also just had heart bypass done in January so I;m thinking about that also. Thank you for sharing. I think I am going to like you just fine, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
1 tsp Paprika and sprinkled Cayenne pepper are not listed in the description box but she added them at around 3:30.
My pleasure. I was looking at the recipe and watching the video at the same time.
Jezel Bow thanks! I was confused like wth she ain't say she added those
Bump
She didn't add them guys because she said they were optional! Sorry I know these are a year old!
Thank you so much for this tasty cauliflower recipe. I don't really like cauliflower but I made this recipe and ate the whole pan by myself. It was really good. Cauliflower is now my new best friend.

I made it with chickpea flour and it turned out fantastic!
Thank you. Chickpea flour. Good to know and healthier, too.
Made these on Superbowl Sunday - they are CRAZY DELICIOUS! Amazing how cauliflower florets can take on the texture and taste of actual chicken wings - without the guilt! So good! Your recipes rock Dani! Thanks so much and keep them coming.
p.s. Used the brown rice flour (btw) and it worked PERFECTLY!
I love how he asks the super random and helpful questions from behind the camera..great knowledge! Thanks! Can’t wait to try..
hahah!! Thats my hubby:)
I made these but with regular flour. They were amazing!!
Thank you, I was wondering would the taste be really different. I’ll try this today
really delicious! have made this 3 times.. also tried bbq sauce and honey for my less spicy lovers
Very nice thanks; I make these often, I use about 70-30 rice flower & corn starch (gluten free) = very crispy, seasoning I use a mild Indian curry powder; I roast them in my air fryer, toss in mix of Frank's Hot Sauce & olive oil
I just made these today and they turned out perfect. Served then with some vegan blue cheese dressing. Even the kids loved them !
I been looking for a baked cauliflower bite recipe. I am definitely making this recipe. The cauliflower bites looks delicious!!!
I love Dani spies channel! It’s changing habit and making it fun! These are delicious!
Books in the kitchen - tells me how clean and delicious the kitchen is?

Looks great! However, I only use Almond Flour or Coconut flour, have you ever used any of these flours for the recipe?
Just came across this recipe and saw your question, did you make it with the coconut or almond flour?
@@donnamccullough1375 Just made this with almond flour. The taste is good but the batter doesn't crisp. Perhaps I put too much.... But it was good. Not a disaster at all.

She puts butter in it lol. I thought the same, then actually looked at the ingredients
Chaotic Vegan butter is easy to replace
Parchment paper. No need for oil and no cleanup either
more wasteful
and potentially less crispy
but maybe not? please let us know if it turns out crispy w the parchment paper. It *would* be nice to avoid the mess.
I used parchment and it works like a charm.
@@lorenlash9174 parchment get things crispy, I prefer it to foil.
I made these three times and they just keep getting more yummy. Thanks for the great recipe! 😁👍🏽✨
Thank you for the recipe, I tried it today but I boiled the Cauliflower in water and salt for few minutes, and after dipping it in the flour patter, I deep fried them. They came out really good.
I’m here in Mississippi, on the Gulf Coast... thank you lovely lady....You rock!!!
I'm thinking if you added a bit of cornstarch in place of a little of the flour it might be crispier all over. I am going to try this recipe. Looks yummy!
It will, cornstarch will do the trick. I use it when I bake my buffalo wings.
cutiemisbehavin1 Any idea about arrowroot?
Chasity Taylor do you mean replace the flour with cornstarch, or just add some to the mixture?
MEL1986blue She did say "a bit of cornstarch"
Wow! Just like magic, the baking pan just out of the oven lost its old brown color... AMAZING! 🙃
I've been craving Cauliflower lately. Thank you.
anytime!
I know this recipe is from 2017 and here it is 2021 but dang these bites are awesome.
My daughter and I made these tonight. Delicious! 😋 We made half with Frank’s hot sauce and the other half with bbq sauce. They both came out great. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
Mine is easy and no gluten. I use my halogen oven . Two steps only the sauce is what makes this so yummy thank you for this way sounds appetizing!
I ❤ healthy snack recipes! These will be perfect for game watching. TYSM, watching you from Cumming, Georgia! (north of Atlanta)

I did some research and found out that quinoa flour works better than rice flour for recipes like this 😊
Valerie from where can I find quinoa flour?
Thank you. Much better idea than wheat flour
But neither rice nor quinoa is allowed on some types of low carb diets, so I’m going to try coconut flour.

I really want to try this. I love buffalo wings sauce, but not really into eating chicken. Excited to see if it's yummy
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I love finger foods like buffalo chicken but looks like this will give me the best part of it (the crisp and buffalo flavor) in a healthy way. I can’t wait to try it!

Boo!! Sorry about that... I wonder why?! Definitely experiment with different water amounts next time. :)
These are amazing. Making them tonight. A friend turned me on to them and this video.
I would dip in dry Panko breading after you dip in wet ingredients that would make them really crispy
