Reactivated GEs! Chasing Berkshire & Eastern ED495 Eastbound & Down!

In this video I made my way over to East Deerfield to see what I could get myself into. Sadly not much was happening but I did manage to find something. That something being ED495/EDPO/EDAY or whatever the hell it’s called now under the Berkshire & Eastern. Powering the train were three General Electric C40-8s all former MEC and prior, CSX. Now sporting “BERX” as a report mark, no longer MEC. The leader, BERX 7535 has been recently reactivated to serve the Berkshire & Eastern RR as well as the third unit out 7489, also wearing a BERX mark and reactivated for the same purpose. BERX 7535 seems to have been equipped with a new horn (K5LA) that sounds badass! Hear the chugs as we chase these aging GE’s eastbound over the Pan Am Southern line!
