Agreed! I have not watched in years. I know exactly when I stopped watching. It was when Luke allowed Laura to be with a Cassadine. I forget which one it was, but they lived on an island or some thing. Luke was just allowing it to happen. And OG Luke would NEVER have accepted that!!!!
Brian and Claudia Phillips.. They were friends of Laura & Scotty first (Brian was Scotty's college roomy).. then later, friends of Luke & Laura... I believe they arrived on the GH canvas in 78 and were part of the show until 86..
I started watching this show when I was a young teenager an Luke was starting to run from frank Smith I’ve got to see all these wonderful moments Luke an Laura wedding but I think my most favorite, is the moment that Luke saw her out on the lawn, I had just gotten off work at Kmart and I stayed over in the break room, lol several of us stayed there to watch this particular show that day, an when he saw her we all started to yell an holler for them, lol we were so loud the manager heard us an had to come tell us to be more quiet.
i remember all the hype and publicity that laura was coming back to GH. everybody was talking about it all over, it was like the second coming of jesus christ.
Too bad Joe Kelly wasn’t there. I remember from the wedding that Bryan Phillips, Joe Kelly & Slick were the ushers, Robert was Luke’s best man, Tiffany, Bobbi, & Claudia, we’re bridesmaids, and Amy was maid of honor.
The 80's and the darn perm craze. I swear, I can give a perm with my eye's closed with the thousands of perms I have given over 35 yrs. I am so glad the perm is OUT of fashion now, it was not complimentary on everyone. It just happened to work for Luke. ✂️

I'm not too sure tho how long they were involved but that's what I was able to put together. I was 13/14 when this aired. My grandmom, mom & cousins were SOOOOOO into G.H. back then. I just watched because they watched & it was all they ever talked about 😊like everyone else 😊😅! In my later teens, 18 really; I was turned on to 'THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' which, if I may say, was GOOD back in the day as well. Yet, I will admit.....'GENERAL HOSPITAL' was better. Least back then in the 80s. I actually stopped watching 'Y&R' about 10 years ago. It just got so repetitive. Boring. I was only watching outta habit. Watching these old clips brings back very fond memories of my early adolescence. Probably one of the very few fond memories I have during that time of my life.
I can Sum it up in a hurry. Holly was a skank- Luke was a horny controlling idiot that time frame. Absolutely no chemistry between the two actors. No spark in their eyes. Laura - Luke's one and only. I ‘m not really a Soap fan but I have never in history seen two actors who could consistently make it appear their characters were in love. It’s all in the eyes!
Whatever became of that kid that was Laura's adopted little brother? I remember him because he went on to be in a few movies I think but I can't remember what happened with his character?
Rick remarries after lesleys presumed death, he marries a woman named Ginny Blake, it's reveled she's mike's biological mother, Ric adopts Mike and has a son Ric Jr with her, Mikes father turns out to be wealthy Derek Barrington who tries to get custody of Mike but after a lot of back and forth He's last seen leaving town with Ric Ginny and Rick Jr.

I think they wrote her out. Her scenes became fewer and fewer. Unfortunately, the actress who played her, Shell Kepler, died of kidney failure.
