That 12 string acoustic guitar carries the whole song, the fast paced strumming is so unique, Robert Smith is a genius. Thank you for this!!!
So glad to be 50. My ears were there back then 🎉 i love music. It's my best friend.
I was waiting for the bass
I would love to hear more isolated guitar tracks. Maybe from Hot, Hot, Hot or the intro to The Kiss.
And now 'the Cure'! Great!👍👍👍
very amazing work
Awesome!
Thanks so much for putting this on YT
Great idea!
Perfect
Excelent

Wonderful! Have you stems for "From the edge of the deep green sea" too?
Haz la de Fire in Cairo de The cure
Hey @dld2
That’s great. I d love to get those in order to train myself at mixing. Would that be possible ?
@@DLD2Music i mean where can I download these separate tracks please ?
@@DLD2Music where to get this please ??
Primero. No tienes el blue jay way de the beatles?
si, fijate
There is a bass VI togheter
And the bass VI?
It’s in with the guitar tracks. Plays a similar role as the bass vi in push but a little further back in the mix :)
Being a huge fan of The Cure I love this stuff. I wish there was more. Do you have any info about where this originated from? Are these the same tracks used on the official release? Is this from a studio or did someone do this by themselves?
I think its just the original song stripped apart, nothing more.
@@finlaymcdiarmid5832 I think you're right, it is the original tracks used for the album version. I don't know how they got the tracks separated like that. Without the original master recording with individual tracks I don't know how they would be able to isolate these tracks like this.
@@JubeProductions i don't know but i don't think its separate tracks.
@@finlaymcdiarmid5832 I think they are the individual tracks from the masters because they are too clean. How else would they be able to take an album track, and separate the tracks without hearing the other instruments?
Anytime that I've heard people take a regular track and separate the bass from guitar, or drums, you can always hear the other tracks faintly in the background.
On a regular song from an album, all the different tracks are mixed together into one track with a mixing console. You can't separate them if they are already mixed together. Sometimes you can use software that will remove a vocal track, but it's not clean and you can still hear it faded down. These tracks in this video are all individual recordings because there is no other instruments bleeding through.
The only way this can be done is if they are taken directly from the master, and usually the only way to hear these is if someone has stolen these tracks from the studio and they are released on a bootleg.
It's possible there is some advanced software that can take an already mixed song and separate the individual tracks, but I'm not aware of it.
@@finlaymcdiarmid5832 Well, This topic peaked my curiosity and I decided to research it a bit. I learned all about stems and multi-tracks and i think people are able to use software to separate the stem tracks from a regular song. That's pretty cool and I wish I knew how to do it because I would be making remixes of my favorite songs.
Is Robert playing on the 12 string?
yes
Synth as not arp solina ensemble ?
What program was used to isolate the different parts?
Original stems
@@DLD2Music Can you please elaborate more on how these tracks were separated? Were they taken directly from the master recording, or were they pulled from the mixed song off the album? I just googled STEMS, but I'm not clear on how the tracks are separated.
@Ethan Torres Thanks for the info. After listening to these I was curious how they were made and did some research. It's pretty interesting.
@@JubeProductions in the old days every microphone or effect has its own track on, a magnetic tape that could be up to 24 tracks per song usually, you can have more with _then_ more tape _or now_ by using a recording software...
it's common practice to keep groups of tracks into a single audio track called "stem"... it is especially relevant for orchestral sounds or drums where you might often view them as _one_ instrument.
how/where to find them? musical archeology, by asking the owners of the original tapes, Pro Tools session (or the digital multitracks whatever it is)... sometimes they are offered for remixing and can be found online... Rock Band and Guitar Hero ironically has made a lot of these available but the quality might have changed!
