Watched part One, SO had to watch Part Two - So GOOD to watch someone WHO really knows his stuff and can tell you what’s what - oh - the repartee between the two of them is spot-on
The reason more people are watching your channel, is its quite interesting seeing one been taken apart. Teaching people about engines. Plus its another youtubers engine. You seem to be at the top of your game and the real cost and living with a supercar.
At 17 the first car I ever drove on the road with L plates was my dad’s Escort Twin Cam, from memory it had L2 cams and a bit of other work. Once I passed my test I got to drive it quite a bit. He was very trusting to let an 18 year old drive it alone, luckily I alway brought it home undamaged, but did it go !!!
Great content back in the 70s safetyclean was what we used and jizer.we also used tetrachloride which we used without any safety just made sure not to get it on your hands. Looking back now it was stupid but best cleaner. Also blowing out brakes with air line, no extraction and asbestos. At least things have changed for the better

Love these videos, could watch them all day and I always learn something new. I bought a cheap run around a while ago which obviously didn’t have a great maintenance record, I was changing the oil every few weeks trying to clean it up as the oil would get dirty after a couple of weeks but no matter how many oils changes I did it never improved until the heater tap crapped itself and it got hot. I caught it just before temp garage got into the red and even though it wouldn’t have been good for the engine what I did do was change the oil again when I replaced the heater tap and after that the oils would stay clean for months so it obviously melted the deposits enough to clean up the engine. Wouldn’t recommend running an engine hot to clean it up but I would have loved to open the engine to see the state of the internals

Been watching since the Guy Martin days and have to say it's good this channel is getting more traction. I personally think the in-depth videos going through specific repairs/builds are the most interesting and watchable. You guys get a pretty wide range of interesting cars and there is a high level of knowledge. So not only are you listening to terrible dad jokes but you're also learning 👌👌👌
Great advice from the UA-camrs. I'm really enjoying the tear down uploads and I don't know why but if you can follow the rebuild go through multiple channels it makes it more of a story. I learnt in my own 1979 lada 1500 estate passion wagon😊 And also had L plates on my parents 1968 rolls royce silver shadow (when insurance was actually priced against the risk) I was in a que of traffic in it when i had passed my test and being young and stupid decided i didnt need to que in a rolls royce, so floored it and over took about 6 cars all doing 30 ish in a 30 mph limit, What i couldnt see until i pulled back in was the car at the front was my parents in my mums 1981 zastava (yes an old rolls, new zastava and a 1978 citroen cx20 were my parents cars) with mum and dad in. Took some explaining once i got home 😮

I use to strip ford engines a few years back and we used a acid bath to clean the blocks it ran at 85 to 90 degrees and we used a powder called ardrox 185 although it was mainly cast that got put in not sure if that would be any use to you
The luxury you have is that YT and it's benefits are incidental to you running a very successful business so you can afford to take risks, as opposed to Matt who is dependent fully on YT content as income generating revenue (plus sponsors). One thing that I saw a while back was a channel that had just a few subscribers, got lucky with filming Guy Martin riding a Crighton CR700W at Cadwell, I think it was, and he got 3m views out the blue. Its amazing what can happen with the right face and the algorithm kicks in. Good news on hats!
Try the white roloc bristle discs, good on alu mating surfaces. Can you not use the aqua blaster on the block and head? If you stay away from machined surfaces, but cant be worse than the wire wheel which is ok.
The cleaning tank looks brilliant, would love something like that at home! Would dry ice blasting be a viable option too to get into the hard to reach areas?

I'm in my sixties and it's hilarious how life and society has changed keep it up lads the chat and banter is gold you just don't get it anymore PC can take a hike. I have 3 boys and constantly being told you can't say that dad!

If you could get the valley completely “as new” would there be an argument to fill some of the irregularities with an epoxy filler so as to remove the future possibility 🤷🏼
I know how much you love a suggestion 😉 how about when you make a film/music/tv/character reference you put the source on screen … you could use a battery operated system to do it and it’d take half as long as typing it 🤔…

Always wore a rubber apron when using the safety clean wash tanks. If it gets on your clothes it stinks
