Hey guys!! This is the first animatic I've ever actually followed through on creating, so I hope it's good!
Some lovely angst for us all, because Karl Jacobs is an angsty af character in the dream smp right now, and then my brain was like "well what if sapnap is happy to die next to his fiance but doesn't know that karl will actually live on alone" and yeah. Somehow I've created this out of a minecraft roleplay, idk how, oh well.
This song is one of my absolute favorites- the mashup of Cancer by MCR and As the World Caves In by Matt Maltese is just so beautifully sad. It makes me feel things. So of course I made it dsmp because why not.

I’m just getting into the SMP and Karl is absolutely my favorite. His story is so sad and bittersweet. I hate that he has to forget everything.. this animatic is beautiful and the song fits so perfectly. I’m literally crying right now, this is just so perfect.

In reality, i find those bad rendered frames a good part of the vid. They gave an amazing touch at it in my opinion!

Basically, the egg is this evil thing that's corrupting everyone, and Dream's in prison, Karl and Sapnap are canonically in a relationship, and Karl's always worried that he's going to forget Sapnap, as that's one of the cons of time travelling.
That probably made no sense but idk.
