Hi, I'm Ali. I'm 24 years old, born & raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer when I was 15 years old in June of 2013 called Pediatric & Wild-Type GIST with SDHA deficiency and relapsed in May of 2018, a week before my 5th anniversary being in remission. I was on a clinical trial from about October 2018 - September 2019 with no results. Now I am on a "wait and watch" protocol until new treatments become available or I need more surgeries. In my free time I foster kittens & cats and sometimes go on rescues.
