I'm hoping that Dyche is preparing to start the season with Beto up front, if Dom is definitely gone. Beto has a unique style, and they need to be prepared for the difference, and not try to just make him play like Dom, which has not worked, thus far.

That’s completely not true, West Ham put a cash offer in for Wilson 2 weeks ago and that offer is still on the table. Newcastle haven’t accepted YET because they were waiting until the new DOF came in (which happened yesterday) - he’s had several offers from Europe also including AC Milan, Brentford, Spurs, Man Utd all have made contact for him but the concrete offer so far is from West Ham.
DCL wanted £160K per week, Newcastle weren’t willing to go above £100K per week due to his injury record. All the top sources who are very reliable in the north east have all said it’s due to him wanting huge wages.
Newcastle fans were furious at signing him to be fair, can’t see it happening now Mitchell has came in who was at Leipzig. DCL is a Howe kind of player but not a Mitchell player what so ever.

I do agree with them not offering him £160K though, he was apparently told he would have the chance to earn that with performances but he didn’t want it. They have a wage structure and even Bruno G and Isak started on 80K per week and had to earn bigger contracts.

The news isn't "ground-breaking", at all, it is just Everton Football Club.
I don't really see the point in catastrophising about it, with the player's being brought in I think the reasons it has developed this way could be very good for us.
DCL cost us £1.5M in 2016, and we all know there is a good player there that the players coming in can fully utilize. Unless it is a given we can get a player that can do what he can do I don't see the point in wanting him gone, without a whopping fee for him, early enough to replace him.
I feel the club's position will prove so productive, with him scoring that he will either then want a decent 3 year minimum contract, and we will get a good fee in 3 years, regardless.
It was clear to me Sean and his fitness staff did a great job in establishing his fitness levels, and he was beginning to get his mojo back - get him the right service player's and we will, he will, thrive.
He's had a shit time.
