Blizzard should add a clause to their terms of service for that says that if you balance whine in a ladder game that you revoke your right to complain about having your gameplay roasted

The editing on these videos is absolutely fantastic. The SCV production ticker is such a good idea, I hope it can be "automated" so it can be reused without hours of effort each time.
He needed to build 4racks and all-in marine spam. The only reason he didn't take over and win the game against 2roaches/2ravagers is because he split attention off to gas and tried to use barracks for line of sight. Have to be aggressive with an aggressive build. Also, don't sit in the bunker that's getting ravager bombed. Micro the marines out to hit the ravagers as they run up to bile. Also, salvage bunkers before they get destroyed. There were 10 marines (8 in bunkers), if they'd been reinforced with 4 more marines right then, they could have pushed 2-shot'ing the ravagers before those 2 ravagers and 2 roaches could get much damage in (so long as you micro move away from bile). Then at the end of your marines wiping them up and the drones coming out in desperation, another 4 marines shows up and you stutter step back to your bunkers with drones chasing. Then what's left? Well a rage at you using a cheese tactic properly and getting away with it not being scouted ofc.
@@jakethornhoffer3612 Vs a bio army they are actually pretty decent. You can use your transfuse on them as well since their health bars are so long and really get value. Probably still one of Zergs worst units though
i am learning a lot with your videos, i used to play starcraft long long time ago i can't remember, but now after coming back, this is sad some people if you are not perfect playing start attacking you, saying very offensive words and sometimes even attacking your base, your own allies, i think starcraft 2 community has become toxic, some people forget that once they were me.
there should be a bingo card or something, full of Zerg units/things Protoss and Terran players find "imba" so we can check them. Let's call it "bullshit bingo". After BL/Infestor, SH/Nydus, Queens, Banes, Creep and other indirect nerfs to Zerg units, we'll maybe see "imba Roach/Ravager/Lurker" next? Just like "imba Ultras" now. I mean, we even had "Imba spines!" in a recente episode lol
Every replay that is sent will show "victory" regardless of who sends it in. You can go and check the end of the other IODIS episodes to verify that it shows victory each time.
@LowLinK I'd say in general if Zerg loses the Hatchery, Zerg should lose, it's normal for him to be ahead after that. He clearly cheeses a lot though as he had macro skills not close to Master level, looked closer to Plat macro.

Well, you guys have to realize that I DID NOT SEND the video in I have even talked with Harstem regarding that after another player that I meet on the ladder told me about this video. It was the zerg player that did and told Harstem it was from me. Like if you read the "Imbalance complain" you can see that he memed pretty hard and nothing that he wrote was connected to the game. Was my BM childish? Yes, but I apologized to him directly after the game. Did I play like shit? Yes, but that was just 1 game after a long losing streak. And to be clear I macro 90 % of my games but sometimes you just want to (try) to get a quick win after a long losing streak.
I think one or two words about the scv production bar would have been cool. Maybe sub-section it with seconds so it is a bit easier to understand when exactly he is producing and when not. The extra colors were confusing. But cool feature tho =]
I feel like a lot of the newer members of the community don't realize what a timing attack is, lol. It's called that because you time the attack to line up with a specific advantage, like an upgrade finishing, or your enemy not having a specific tech yet.

i feel like its pretty easy to pick people apart when youre getting to see all the important mistakes being pointed out by harstem, but honestly for low masters player, it didnt strike me as that odd. try rewatching your own replays and picking out stuff, even thought youre not close to harstems level you should definitely be able to see mistakes much worse than this if diamond and below

I'm not an expert but maybe if you can't micro ghosts, Terran's best unit, then maybe practice that skill? Seems like an important skill to get good with the unit that can cloak, snipe, nuke, and EMP. Just saying. Seems pretty important to me.
New idea for beating grandmasters with stupid stuff: Harstem is a progressive player and this is a progressive youtube channel. He is a player that doesn't harras other players, that asks for consent and always tells his intimate opponent what he is doing at all times: So in short: - No (early) harras allowed(later runbuys are considered a double attack. - You have to tell him when you are going to attack, 20 seconds before atleast, also at what base, runbuys included - You have to tell your opponent when you are starting upgrades, what tech you are going and when you are taking a new base - what the key units of your army are all 2 minutes. Lets translate that apm into progressivness.

He also remarked that, due to the usual skill difference when playing that account, it would probably not be that much of a challenge to beat opponents even if they knew exactly what he it doing. Essentially he is looking for mechanical challenges where he can levarage his sc2 skills, which level they playingfield enough and which will not be perceived as openly rude by the opponent. (So anything like "tell opponent what you are doing", "play zoomed in", "play with only one hand") are out of the question. Of course, it also should generate a good viewing experience.

As a Zerg player who is trying to main Terran instead. This was hilarious. He literally just needed Viking/or even thor for mutas and banshee for everything else on the ground. Not ghost, he didn't even have siege tanks for the mass zergling at the end. Marine, Marauder is exactly the composition a zerg player want you in frankly because what happens is if you go cheap quick units like that in what I call the more balanced style race (Terran) against the specialized cheap unit agressive eco style race (Zerg) you just lose. I've learned that Terran is about taking effiecient trades at the end of the day, and seeing him on 3000 gas at the end with 24 workers, zerg at 80. Dude move you gas workers to minerals. PLEASE! lol anyway great game
