Hi Tim I have this camera and it recently suffered some water damage, it’s mostly okay but the on and off button has become super sensitive. Do you happen to know the solution for this?
It's a great camera. I've had mine for a couple of years now. I love that it shoots RAW and has custom setting. I try not to go above ISO 200, ISO 400 kind of works. Any higher and the noise is super bad.
I returned the faulty one to MPB and have bought another - I’ve actually started ANOTHER UA-cam channel to specifically focus on my photography experiences
Part one of my journey to find a new EDC camera...
I’ve had mine since 2007. I always liked it but haven’t used it in a while. I should get it back out!
I bought a second one as this one had a faulty zoom. Tbh I’ve hardly used it as I’ve been using - small PAS instead
I have the Canon Powershot G15.
I got it for $ 75 USD, mint in box, with all manuals and other accesories.
Your photos looked good! Omg! What are your settings or did you use editing app?
I used some custom settings but also added some sprinkle in lightroom
@@Tim2pointoh can you share the settings that you used?
@@wisterials In these pictures I used some LUTS from James Popsys.

Not a clue sorry.
I'm looking forward to the answer to question 'Is this Canon G9 any good (in 2024) ?'. in part 2!
Still have mine 🙂
