Nice and solid design, but with small spaces, you're always looking to maximize the use of the square footage. Open floorplans are great for doing that. If you have an open floor plan that encompasses your living, dining and cooking area not only does the place feel bigger, but it also allows for easier "expansion" of one space if you have a lot of guests over.
For example the dining room can flow into the living space if you have more people over than you can seat at your dining table. Or you can extend a table into your kitchen to accommodate more guests.
I also recommend having your closets inset into the wall to make the bedrooms larger. Storage is also a must for small spaces. A window seat is actually a good use for that because the seating part can either open up to reveal storage, or the bottom part of the seat can be divided into cubby holes with pull out baskets or cupboards with doors. One furniture, two uses.
The layout could use some tweaking. If you put the bedrooms and bathroom all in one side, both rooms would have easy access to the bathroom and you'd totally open up the kitchen, dining and living area.
Again nice exterior for a small house. Improve layout if push bedroom out front instead of dining and kitchen. Kitchen dining and living room as open plan to make it look spacious and not compartmentalize.
