Neither was I until you realise it is very beneficial for anyone who also does normal sparring/fighting. 1: Less damaging to the brain and body (Much lower chance of injury) 2: Helps improve distance management and footwork in fights. 3: Helps improve speed and helps you train your mind, body and eyes to see openings. I never liked it either and dont think its good to train alone. But my regular sparring improved alot after doing some point sparring.
Don't get me wrong, I see the benefits, I just don't enjoy it. I don't get my fix from it so to speak. It always leaves me hungry for something else. I just can't get that good tired feeling from it. I guess I'm doing a bad job of explaining it. 😅
