ooh I know exactly how you feel. I struggle with drapery a lot! Thank you for sharing the book recommendation, I'm adding it to my TBR! :) You did a good job with your commission pieces. I think my favourite is the last one :) and your renaissance outfit was really cute! I'm such a noob when it comes to painting, thanks for sharing some tips. My lack of understanding how to paint withal paint translates also in my digital work, so I really need to practice.
This was such a fun video to watch!! It was nice to have a bit of a vlog going on too! Your approach to finding balance is very reassuring and inspiring! Those illustrations are so dreamy!! What a perfect atmosphere ✨✨ what was that brush you used for the green in the root fae’s hair?
Thank you ❤! I believe I used the soft pastel brush native to procreate or one of the watercolor brushes by maxpack. Their procreate brushes are amazing and I highly recommend them.
@@drawninthefog Thank you so much! The book is called ‘Illustration 2024’. It’s a really wonderful collection of art from many different artists. I got it at a local Japanese bookstore. Found it on some online bookstores when I googled the name!
I'm so happy that I have found your Chanel 😊
The green is my favorite 😍. You're really talented!
@@loandthesun422 Thank you! I’m glad you liked it!

that looks like a really cool book! shame it's pricey though 🥰
@@ChantelleArts It is pricey for sure, but also has so many illustrations from so many different artists it definitely feels worth it.
Your 3 pieces look really great individually and work well as a set too 😍
What was the book you were using? I didn't catch the title
