Hey Chris, just so you know, if you dont place geraldo until round 4, you'll be able to afford the Quincy action figure easily because it doesnt go up in value unless geraldo is already placed. This means you can wait to place until you can afford quincy and then place both and get quincy for super cheap super early
But then he doesn’t sell to as much
Yeah you lose 4 round of money but spend 700$ at the beginning instead of thousands

The Quincy Action figure is definitely worth it. As long as you don't hold on to it for too long. There is a point between round 35-70 where selling it gives back insane value and supercharges your farming abilities.

In my elite run I sold it to get my 2 farm monkeyopolis at around r48
TBH, vortex's design actualy looks fresh AF, in btd 5 it looked weird

If you can beat elite lych or Bloonarius, Then this is a walk in the park. After tier 1, It’s just a normal boss event, A mad for tier 2, Degree 20 apex for tier 3, Degree 40 apex for tier 4, And a bunch of other paragons on degree 40 or above with a VTSG in the mix. Still super fun though.
That overdrive never becoming a Tack Zone really hurt my heart

I'd love to see how the Vengeful Temple would stack up against Vortex especially how it has pretty intense range and can be buffed by a bunch of towers and if Geraldo's shop could affect it to up damage with Sharpen

It can't (not sharp damage) and it would be a shite buff anyway. VTSG does massive damage per shot and has massive, sharpening stone gives 1 pierce and 1 damage, which amounts to bassically nothing on VTSG.

the quincy action figure is compound interest, so the longer you wait the better it is
When I did normal vortex I used a tack zone for to tiers MAD and homeland and a super brittle and then a level 30 ninja paragon and all the debuffs. For elite I used a sticky bomb, tackzone superbrittle, mad permabreh homeland cripple moab superbrittle tackzone glue storm, then a level 30 dart paragon and a level 20 ninja paragon and for last tier I used all paragons all level 30 and a vtsg plus all buffs and debuffs and I almost lost vortex is insane

fourth tier bottom path ninja is insane for first vortex, or at least on normal one.
The boat and ninja paragons are better as of now, because both of them have global range, and so you can place them farther away from the track so they don’t get stunned.
Hey Chris friendly advice on how to use the action figure.
The price increases the level after you deploy Geraldo. SO what I like to do is build a boomer put in about 700 into it then buy Geraldo. Now you can sell boomer to buy action figure. Now you can do farms and stretch yourself as thin as possible till you need to sell it action figure to get the gold boost.
From the looks of it you would have been able to keep some marketplaces and just sold action figure
You should try elite defender for the first tier. Even second. It worked well for me. I first tried elite. I did not do ranked though if that changes anything
Elite defender can take first tier elite vortex. 2nd tier you need a mad although maybe an elite/elim combo would work too.

i struggle with lynch and bloonarius and have to watch guides but this guy...no guides...no head ups...straight into this shit....normal + elite back to back...a walk in the park for me and im noob as lmao
The design of vortex each Tier is different
T1 Has a much darker colour
T2 has Jet engines and his cloud turned yellow
T3 the eyes are yellow and more spikes on it along with a Grey cloud paired to its yellow cloud
T4 has extra wings underneath its Jet engines
T5 has 3 spheres circling around it and both clouds are yellow
I Love everything about SJB vids, except when he doesn’t upgrade the second path fully on a 4+ tier😂 (and when he talks about monkeys and gods sexually)
btw SJB you can get quincy action figure round 4 if you wait until you place geraldo

Have you done any kind of testing for Geraldo's items? I was bored and ran through the sharpening stone, it lasts forever but only effects certain things, like on a dart money only gets 2xx/x5x/xx4 and boomerang gets 5xx/x5x/xx1 and if you mix the red hot it takes off the stone 🤷
Sharpening stone gives its buff only to things with the sharp damage type. That can pop everything 3 except frozen and lead. I've no idea why red hot would take off the stone, but i assume its a bug to do with damage type changing.
I finally beat him coop with a guy who started with a couple of crates, was able to get pirate, dart, and ninja paragon. Definitely easier than lych. Every other balloon feels inconsequential with this boss, with lych i was always scared of killing moabs
It's a lot harder in ranked since you can't use powers or instas. So getting a good time is tricky.
Saw someone use sub abilities to insta kill these bosses.. was pretty awesome dude

I've never done the math, but why do people never fully go to favored trades, that is literally my most xp and most used monkey. I think it is so much better than just merchant men

Kinda crazy how a mobile game became a pc game. Realistically phones can’t handle this game and pc has such a massive advantage with hotkeys etc
The 4-2-0 dartling can solo tier 1 elite vortex, witch is fairly cheap no matter what farming strat you do
How fast is it? I use 2-0-5 sniper and it also works
