I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (September 27), I played this for Sunday School assembly. I did so because the lesson taken from Nehemiah 2: 5, 11-20. It was entitled Nehemiah: A Motivator for the People. Just thought I'd share.

Thank you my brother for this song. At the age of 17 I wrote a monologue: the speech of martin Luther at the Worms Diet and we perform the play. A group of young brazilians learned to sin "Ein Feste Burg ist Unzer Got" in german. It was an impact in central Brazil. I love this song. Thank you again!

Thank you for preaching the Truth of God...The battle belongs to God and I am very thankful. Peace to you and yours for your faithful witness. Hearing this on my playlist reminded me and led me to share with a sick friend...a strong reminder that yes, the Battle is the Lord's. God bless you.

I understand you, Anita M. Brown. Isn't it wonderful and graceful the way Maestro John Hong performs on the grand instrument for Christ's sake?

The Organist is a very talented organist but your intelligent observation and comment as harsh as it is, is correct!

Sounds like the organ got a good workout as little or nothing was left out. Probably knocked the dust out of it.

While I can appreciate improvisation as a musician, there is a vast difference between dressing up a melody and wandering from original chord progressions and rhythms. The latter tends to enhance the player and NOT the music. It becomes "look what I can do" instead of "look what God has inspired". Ego has no place in church/religious music!
You want to improvise, join a jazz group, but keep it outta my church.

What church have you got with those videos and your sexual opinions open for all to see. Perhaps your pastor or pastoral relations committee want to know about them.

Sounds like you don't know how to wander from the original chord progressions. This is very skillful, creative and tasteful. BTW, Bach improvised in church but what did he know?
