Love this. I told my husband I need a laminator. But for now I came up with a cute idea. I went to my local dollar stores and bought cards. Pretty, funny and sentimental ones and used the fronts as dashboards. I punched my holes and cut slits and now I am using those to brighten up my journal. I'm also making some cute paperclips. You've made this so much fun. Thanks for all your wonderful ideas. ❤

I missed when you said the heat setting you select on your laminator. Do you select the 3 or the 5?
I think I forgot to say that! I use the 3 setting because the pouches I have are the 3 Mil. ones.

I am just getting started on organizing my life...at the ripe old age of 64! I love all your tutorials and even convinced my husband to watch a few, once I could tear him away from his guns and ammo magazine! I do have one question about laminating: instead of using on sheet for each dashboard, would it be possible to position them side by side in one laminating pouch to cut down on waste? I have never laminated (but it's in my immediate future) so maybe this has an obvious answer but one I'm unaware of.
Thanks for the helpful tutorial! Do you think the Scot Self Seal Laminating Pouches could work just as well as the machine? I’ve never used either but want to make my own dashboards and dividers.
Hmm, I haven't tried the self seal pouches but I would be scared of getting air bubbles with those! I have to say the machine is so simple and perfect I never looked back after finally getting it.

In my opinion yes, it is just as good! You can also buy laminator pouches of different thickness if you want something really really sturdy, but for planner use this is perfect. XOXO

Now I am on the hunt for some free simple, functional, yet pretty printables to get me started! Thank you so much for the videos, they've been super helpful in giving me ideas to get started and keep organized!
OMG you are brave with the guillotine style paper trimmer! I've had one for years but mine is the kind that has the little razor that you slide along the paper. It has a little scoring tool too. I'd for SURE cut off a finger with the guillotine style - LOL!
