One of the best Owner review who have proper knowledge of the vehicle, and his recommendation to us Indian Oil Xtra Green is really a Good Diesel as my creta engine is now smooth compare to earlier and too the petrol of Indian oil premium wala is good
With the latest software update few of the issues are fixed. But still a long way to go. More than ventilated seats I am inclined towards auto dimming mirrors.
Very nice and honest review. Got to know many things from your experience.I recently owned xuv 700 petrol and noticed the front side bonnets in both side heats a lot after driving quite a distance. Have you noticed the same in yours ? Can you advise if it's normal?
Good review, thanks. I too have AX7L AWD. I would like to know 2 things 1. What is the lowest speeds at which gear up shifting happens for you? For me it is 4th only by 50kmph and 5th by 65 kmph (checked with manual). And this does not change with drive modes - same in zip modeas well. Due to this i feel my mileage is bot low - just about 12 in towns of Kerala, which is not ver crowded, even on long trips not yet got above 12, though these trips had hill areas. Even with light foot driving. 2. This 23 kmph was for a short while or for a full highway trip? In which mode? 3. i hardly see the power going to rear wheels in AWD torque distribution display, even in slight sand situations. Only when awd button is pressed it shows. How is it for you?
Thanks for the comments. 1. Regarding gear change foot it is dependent on various factors actually - like throttle input, terrain like uphill or downhill etc. for me I too had that feeling and I observed sometimes the 6th gear doesn’t engage before 98 speed and that’s when my throttle is pressed with heavy foot. 4th and 5th I have never paid much detail but will observe now. 2. 23 mileage is for one tankful to another tankful for almost 1022 kms. That day drive was of 1500 kms approx so we can say it is in one drive. 3. Mine also hardly goes to rear wheels. If AWD is explicitly on then it is well distributed but when it is not it just behaves as 2 wheel drive. Yet to do more RnD in the same
In my opinion if you anticipate this is the maximum yearly run and you are planning to keep the vehicle more than 10 years then stick to petrol or if you need more torque but planning to change in 5-6 years you can go for diesel. But I believe diesels are more for long long term ownership
Good review, thanks for sharing. Helps in knowing AWD performance and capabilities, though there are software glitches , hopefully they are taken care in future upgrades by Mahindra. I plan to buy AWD , hope everything goes well , any suggestions from you?
You can confidently go for it. It is well packaged system which is capable of light off roading as well. My suggestion is to go for it and expect improvements slowly.
Flawless with all those issues 🤣🤣😂 Apart from buying I think we need to sacrifice some substantial time of our life to live in Mahindra Service centre 😂
Flawless is in the context of driving. I have completed 46k+ kms and there were issues but when it comes to driving in various driving conditions it is flawless. Regarding service centres, every other brand has their share to make you visit. I owned 4 brands and every now and then I needed to visit. Funda is either you ignore the issues or you get it fixed as soon as it pops up. With other brands I felt people are good to be ignorant but when it comes to Tata or Mahindra people keep cursing them...
@@vagabondingbycar 😂 😆 You killed the word flawless there. Keep up the great work of allowing faulty vehicle manufacturers. If people don’t buy faulty ones they will fix it first.

Very honest detailed review...thanks sir..I am confused about buying this..I am planning for petrol .. can u pls tell what I can expect milage in petrol ...
Extracting mileage is purely subjective as it depends on your driving style, conditions of traffic and other factors. So honestly it would be real difficult for me to comment how much mileage you can extract. But as i have heard from other friends (petrol owners), they used to get on an average 9-11 Km/lt +/- 1-2 kms. So you can take a call on general reviews if you are really inclined towards petrol version
I own AX7 DSL MT - It's 2 months old with 3K on the Odo, getting consistently 16-17kmph on highways & 14-15kmph in city. Hopefully it should increase after 1st oil change at 10K kms.
Hi Brother, Thanks for your video 📹😊 I'm from jamshedpur but based out of Bangalore, please help me with city mileage and experience in Bangalore traffic..
Hello bro, In any city mileage completely depends on how you manage the vehicle. And how smartly you are acting towards traffic conditions. Like in peak traffic I have drawn lowest 3-4 km/ltr and in almost with 10% of Bangalore traffic I have drawn 12-14 km/ltr. During the peak traffic I was standing ideal for almost 2+ hours at one location. And that was a major setback. I didn’t manage well and hence low efficiency. Regarding driving experience it is an automatic so it’s a bliss to drive in city traffic, steering is light weight so effortless as well. Overall it’s a fun to drive car be it low traffic, heavy traffic or highway run
Traction control off hone ki ek pic share kijiye along with Kab off hota hai. Jaise vehicle kitni speed pe chalti hain and road conditions kya hoti hai etc etc. Can try to help with.
Are you Odia ? If yes then Bhai Petrol nele thik haba na Diesel XUV 7oo ? And mate Power darkar. Drag karile jemiti fast jauthiba lag karu nathiba. What's your suggestion
Yes bhai Odia. Power figure wise both diesel and petrol are powerful. But the torque is real high in diesel only. Once diesel catches speed it’s very hard to catch up as per my opinion. In the same place petrol gives instant pickup and then form a plateau. So both are good at its place from power and delivery perspective. Now it’s a choice of yours which type of power deliver you like. I am a diesel head so I always prefer diesels.
So many faults and flaws and still you say it’s flawless… n saying it poor man’s merc.. 😅 just because Mahindra is acknowledging the product flaws, it doesn’t make it great car..
In my opinion listening to customers, trying to fix those and addressing the shortcomings is something that makes a brand good. Mechanically I would say it is a great car because I have confidently driven the length and breadth of INDIA and didn’t face any issue. There were software glitches but now after recent update it’s is 90% resolved. I acknowledge your perspective but honestly in this price bucket and with such a laundry list of features it is one of the greatest car.
Unbiased & articulate review !! Thanks Prabhanjan ji !!

Searching for someone with ownership or dealer to provide MX model. If I get hands on will definitely review. I guess the ask is for diesel model
ADAS is not meant for Local area Ciity it's useful only Expressway Highways
Within city limits you can use AEBS which is again part of ADAS. Which can help in emergency braking situations but with side effects.

52000 in 10 months bro
Mileage in city?
Depending on traffic and idling conditions. Worst case have got 11.8 best got around 14.5-15.1, all in Bangalore traffic conditions
Why the background music while talking ? Soo annoying 😔😔😔
Thanks for the feedback. The wind noise was too high. So to suppress it the background music was added.
Would have preferred no background music
