My absolute favorite button lock with thumb studs is my Sencut Serene. Idk if it’s the way my hand is shaped but the placement of the thumb studs + the action makes it ADDICTINGLY fidgety.
What I like about the Pyrite is that it has so many options, titanium handles, S90V, 20CV with copper handle, etc. And always a great price. I think the Altus with their Damascus would look really great.
i’m almost certain there’s already and altus with damascus. but it’s not the vg10 core damascus
I picked up the black richlite HIC CUP for $33 last week on sale. I really like it so far!
The Begleiter 2 button lock is one of my favorite button locks with a thumb stud.
Just got the Bestech Swordfish button lock and i love it.
Gotten where i prefer big knives
Kizer Cormorant, CJRB Lago, Sencut Watauga, and Civivi Elementum 2: best button locks BY FAR that I have ever used, better than knives that cost twice+ as much.
Nice list, a lot of good bangers here. The Kizer Hic-Cup is one of my underrated favorites and one of the first front-flippers I really liked. An honorable mention would be the Kizer Original and Original XL.
Man the bowie pyrite is so clean. Have to pick that up next.
I actually picked up the smallest thunderbird in the blue fat carbon and my experience was exactly the opposite, it had a complete lack of any detent what so ever, a light shake of the wrist and the knife would fly open. Full disassembly and reseating everything, and still no dice. Wish this knife wasn’t so inconsistent, really wanted to love it

My S35VN Qubit and S90V Pyrite have been fighting each other for my pocket time. The Psyop looks amazing but I'm on a budget for a bit, so no big knife purchases for me.

If the Civivi Sentinel Strike had a different blade steel I would buy it. the mini pyrite is on my list. Altus is on my list
Great list. My favorites are the Thornton, Altus and Ekko.
2024 has been a hard year for people who like clean blades.
Also please look into asking Vosteed to make the Thorton with a lefty clip option!! Would’ve definitely picked one up but lefties got done dirty :/
Good list, it’s hard to pick just one. The sentinel strike sales were probably hurt because it came out at the same time as the vision fg. The kizer original would be a good one to add as well

Kizer Banish or CRJB mini Pyrite?
I have the pyrite Bowie and it has deployment issues. I can’t middle finger flick it at all. My fingers slip right off of it. The deploy is just too hard. What can I do to smoothen it up? Thank you
