I love autumn the most out of all the seasons. I live in northwest iowa and right now it’s 64 but it’s suppose to get up to almost 80 today. It’s unusual for us to have such nice weather this late in the year. I’m so proud of Colton and Chloe they’re very very smart children. You guys are doing an amazing job raising them.
Hi Megan, I don’t own a Purple Mattress but I have been wanting one for years. I was in a furniture store that sold the Purple Mattress. My son was living in South Carolina at the time and while I was waiting for them to shop for a couch, I basically talked two couples to buy Purple Mattresses. I laid on it and wanted it sooo bad. I need to be an influencer to get a free mattress. We bought a Craftmatic bed years ago and it broke just after the warranty ended.😢 those beds aren’t cheap either. Coltons room looks cool and he is so excited. Megan, my grandsons have to go to sleep with their tv on you tube with children sleepy time music on but they still sleep with Mommy and Daddy. The baby use to sleep with me. I always put kids to sleep. Megan thank you for sharing your shepherd’s pie. I’m going to make it. 😊 thank you for sharing your life with us. ❤
You all need a hot tub!! Nothing huge. Just enough room for you two to sit and the kids play around a little bit. Your surroundings are so pretty and just think about being in it when the snow is coming down! The kids would loose their minds...LOL! I think you would all love it year round! I personally don't have one (someday soon) but a friend does and says the cost to heat it in the winter in minimal with a good cover. They really have not seen an increase in the bill from when they didn't have it. If you could get one of the larger ones (swim spa) at a good used price you wouldn't even have to deal with the pool. We live in the Cincinnati, Ohio area so yes, we get pretty cold too. Love your family and thank you for sharing!!!

Night lights for their room. So they don't wake up in darkness. That's probably what causes the panic. It's pitch black and they can't find you. They have those lights for kids that cast shapes (cars, unicorns ect). Might be worth a try.

Megan i made that mistake as well having a child still sleep with you when they are older , Boy was it hard to wean her off me But it worked I had her older sister sleep with her instead, she finally grew out of it but it taken a lot to not give in to her wants and whines she wanted to sleep with me i was told it was tough love to do it. But it did work. i had a twin size bed for myself you know how crowded it got with 2 people in it we didnt have room for a full size bed if i did all the kids be in it. i ended up sleeping in the recliner and let her have the bed, but always by morning she was asleep in my arms. never failed. and she was a preemie and a late bloomer.
