The Greatest Storage That’s Ever Lived?

- With the latest technology and up to 96TB of storage, this impressive piece of tech has earned my approval! I actually replaced my old NAS with this, and that's not something I take lightly. The responsiveness and ease of use of this one is so much better. You can even hook it up to a TV and play files directly off the NAS through HDMI. Ugreen is really stepping up their game when it comes to hardware!

Dude is going Fast and Furious with the amount of NAS he has

That is so dope! I love ugreen..
10,000$ for a NAS is insane.
EDIT:not entirely sure what was going on when i searched this on mobile but looking at the current kick start lprices run from 259-649 after a 35-40% early bird backing. (519$ for flash version)
it is. seems like you are making this number up. Join us back in reality.
It would be if anyone were actually asking for that much...

This is similar to an idea I've had knocking around my head for ages. Hopefully it has/will go to proper market and I'll be able to afford it.
I want these. I WANT FOUR OF THEM!!!!
This just reminds me of all the 80s-90s scifi anime where something "tech" had to be fixed or stolen.
This is an ad. Shame on you for not disclosing that, and pity on the people who blindly trust you enough to give an honest review and purchase it just based on your word alone
"After sliding into this one I'm finally satisfied "🤣
Became a fan of Ugreen after i bought their 10ft type charging cable. i feel like Anker really wants to be this brand
If I had this I would store all of my po- I MEAN homework because I have to do my daily mastu- I MEAN lessons
that intro was wild
NAS systems are cool. Unfortunately I don't have any use for one.
It worries me not having redundancy and ECC ram so I did go the route of building my own homelab NAS. I have 12hdds and RAID-10 up to 4 drives could theoretically fail before losing data and then the error-checking ram is peace of mind + dual-xeon CPUs. I have Plex on it and the whole computer never exceeds about 5% utilization with four streams. A regular NAS is quite easy but I think I'd almost rather just have a JBOD enclosure than a NAS
I've got a terabyte of homework. Now i can finally expand my collection 💀
Nice diss on cloud storage lmao - I'm interested in these NAS's tbh due to having too many games to store as well as video footage, is it worth getting a NAS just for these aforementioned reasons?
🤯 thats a megaserver
The perfect system to play modern AAA games on!
How did managed to instantly recognise your voice just by watching the video "The greatest technician to have ever lived" last year?

Thank your for this ad.
Ah, yes perfect for my poppo- popcorn and butter collection!
Holy volume Batman.
Its specs are better than my pc
all of you need to be on a list
😂 I've slid into my share of boxes...I'm dying
THE GREATEST TECHNICIAN THATS EVER LIVED
UGreen needs to double this for 8 bays. Turn it into a rack-mount, but 8 vertical drives don’t take up all the room you have. So then have one of their battery banks built into the other side to keep network infrastructure online for a couple more minutes to properly shut down and finish up.
I like to use that to store high resolution surveillance footage from my ip cameras.
it even looks cool its like one of those mecha hangar things
I know nothing about computers but this thing looks sweet
I want this now

The next good thing is your data isn't on a online cloud. Instead it is physically bound to your mini server. That you can always unplug from the network.
Great hard drive
Mom will be silent while this dropped
They have to use kick starter? This is an established company that should need that platform.
I would see this after the special ends
Google sucks lately trying to delete my "homework" from my google docs without permission so I'll definitely look for external hardware storage!
aww get that bag king
Finally. I can download that update for call of duty.
The greatest storage system that’s ever lived.
My mom finally has storage for photos
I'm about to crack his code
The greatest NAS that's ever lived
Me pausing to peek at that GT..😈
Each to their own, I prefer Synology. I have an 8Tb (16Tb with RAID configuration) for family use and a 4Tb (8Tb as RAID) for multimedia, DNS server, Home Assistant, and security cameras. Synology security and remote login is very good, I've Pentested my setup and found no vulnerability.
The greatest peddler of ugreen shovelware that's ever lived.
The greatest sponsorship that’s ever lived
Sad face that i actually have a homework folder on my desktop of about 200 GB... of 3d models for my engineering classes
I used a website to make a pc build for me and the price is like 1000$ it’s way out of my budget and that is not including the keyboard, mouse, mousepad, monitors, and any extra stuff either. It seems like a pretty good pc tho
The storage every gamer needs😂😂😂
Finally i can build my private server for homework research 😎
Its hard to believe this is obsolete. That new laser AI tech is bringing a whopping 128 TB to solid state drives.
We bout to have storage capable of the games we have DREAMED of. The future looks bright.
Disclaimer. I have NO clue when it will be released to public sales. So technically to the consumer this server is still top of the line. If you find out let me know!
Im reqlly excited for this kickstarter. I welcome new competitors to the NAS market. I got an Asustor recently and i like it but the software could be better.
UGREEN one of my favourite budget tech companies. Using their chargers, cables and docks.
bro is going to do his homework all night 💀
Ive been debating this but am skeptical with it being a Kickstart thing.
HOMEWORK FOLDER 💀
It reminds me of the old servers created back in the day. Such as the Seagate pc server with windows server 2012
I might buy a 2-bay one, because I definitely don't need 96 terabytes lol.
You won’t get 96TB usable with it when using redundancy and/or smaller disks than 24TB (which I would recommend because 24TB drives have high per TB prices compared).
So using raid 10 with 4*20TB drives net you 40TB. While I would rather make 2 raid 1 volumes.
Nice, but now I'm stressing over how to fill all 96 terabytes of storage 😭
The greatest technician that's ever lived.
368 GB is a reasonable size for a homework collection.
Now im safe against zip bombs
Already better than my pc
Finally! A device that can store all of my 8k pokemon por- playthrough videos!
Ugreen went from making chargers to making network-attached storage devices that can run Doom
This storage has better specs than my pc, except for the boy cause it doesn’t have one
Yo wtf this is dope… but what is the price for that damn thing?
My mom would still be able to fill it with pictures
First time I've ever seen AI actually be a useful addition to tech I feel.
Why in the world does big company like ugreen need to use kickstarter?
A Synology NAS rivalry?
Imagine buying tons of this and making you own cloud and get rich
if you have a 8 lane you can fit 128TB of storage
I want to be the greatest technician that ever lived as well :(
Shut up and take my money!🤣
This thing would be good for my 70+ gb of Agricultural video 😎👍
That box looked like a power brick charger (forgot what the actual name for it was) with 4 slots for power bricks
"Holds 96Tb"
I've heard of the Exadrive by Nimbus Data that maxes out at 100Tb for a single 3.5in SSD. So, the max capacity is likely a bit over 400Tb. Granted the drives cost about 40k or more for each 100Tb drive, so that's not exactly consumer practical.
I know it's good when the name of it sounds like another *fucking language.*
This is a NASync DXP4800+, and it can be opened using a NASync DXP4800+
i think we should use the old laptops we have from years ago to be a NAS server
