Don't think I have ever watched a Elvis movie, love his music though. Recently been listening to his version of bridge over troubled water, he sings it amazing.
Great video Alan really enjoyed it. You have great taste!! I'm a massive Elvis fan, have been ever since my dad took me to see That's The Way It Is when I was a little kid. A voice and tone like no other and one hell of a handsome cat. Apart from being blessed with a phenomenal voice he was as you said, a fantastic actor. A real natural.I really don't get the people who think he couldn't act. My favourites are.Loving You,King Creole,Jailhouse Rock,Flaming Star,Blue Hawaii,Roustabout,Fun In Acapulco,Girls,Girls,Girls, Spinout, Girl Happy,It Happened At The World's Fair,Viva Las Vegas,Paradise Hawaiian Style,Follow That Dream,G.I Blues,Clambake, Frankie And Johnny,Charro but pretty much all of his films have entertainment value, but I have got my favourites like I said. He really has got a presence and charisma that really touches you like no other performer, and all he gave to the world in his forty two years is incredible. I love the guy. Thanks Alan for another top video. Hey, as you're in Liverpool, how about Billy Fury? You've got the statute of him there. Obviously not in the class of Elvis but he was one of Britain's finest.
Thanks for the kind words, Steve, on my Elvis video, and of course I echo every single word you said about the great man. He truly was THE KING, and as I say, I just do not get these people who say his movies were no good and that he couldn't act. He knocked spots off some of these actors today who mumble their words or talk too fast, to the extent that half the time, you can't hear a word they are saying. So annoying. My mum especially is a HUGE HUGE fan of Elvis, right from when she was young girl. She grew up the same time as him, and remembers vividly when he first came out in the 50s. There'll never be another one like him, and this is borne out every year as fans make mass pilgrimages to Graceland to celebrate his birthday, and of course his memory. In regard to Billy Fury, yes, was very good too. We have all his CDs and think that the statue on the Albert Dock is a great tribute to his memory. Thanks again, Steve, for the kind comments. They were much appreciated.
@@Truegho Oh you're more than welcome Alan.I really enjoy catching your videos. Always find them very entertaining and look forward to each new review.Must've been great being around when he first came out, like your mum and hearing him for the first time. Hearing that voice and and then seeing him. What an impact. My dad said even hearing his name the first time on the radio he was like "eh what did they say his name is?" because even that was something different and out of the ordinary. All these years later and he's still the greatest.
Thanks for the kind comments, Steve. Glad you enjoy my videos so much. Yes, Elvis was indeed the greatest, wasn't he, and the King of Rock 'n Roll. As I have said many times over the years, there will never ever be another one like him. He has left the world a remarkable legacy with his music and films.
Welcome to my channel, Ariel. Great to have you along as a new subscriber. I will reciprocate the sub if you have a channel yourself. Glad you liked my Elvis video. Yes, he definitely WAS The King, no question!
Hi Carl. Thanks for the kind words about my Elvis video. I would also like to thank you for entering my 100 Subs competition, and also for the wonderful recommendations you gave for my channel. Both your interest and support for my channel is hugely appreciated, and I will of course continue to promote and support your own channel as much as I can. Very best of luck in the draw, which will be held next Thursday, 14th January 2021. I thought I would give another week for people who might not have see it yet and who would like to enter.

I totally agree. In That's The Way It Is, he performs it brilliantly onstage too.
I’m always looking for new movies to add to my collection. Thank you
You're very welcome.
I wish some company would one day release ALL of Elvis's movies in one big bumper blu ray box set, with tons of extras. I would DEFINITELY buy it!
