I get that the song is for Onces. But the target audience is unfortunately not me. This reads as a very generic and coperate pop track, imo with the monotonous and derivative melodies, and it's very flat. These types of songs just don't interest me, and there is no distinctive personality. I would give it a light 2/10 as I personally never go back to a track like this. I don't just rate songs like this this low, this applies to any songs that sound like this.
I get why you think it is very generic, but you should know this isnt used that much in KPOP. This isnt the western music, and this is very VERY distinct in kpop especially this years release... Idk what ur even saying
I love when singers show their emotion through their songs... Thats why its special...music is perspective though...Now a days being ' catchy' is everything not the lyrics not the feelings
@joshbenidectmuana9113 To me, I don't think it is distinctive as I have definitely heard this type of song before. Upon first listen, It just felt familiar to me, and I get that people will like this release because of the message they were conveying. But this just reads as music I would hear in a shopping mall or in an h&m, and it's just not interesting to me personally.
@itsme-cj3vd I get that from your perspective, but I prefer the production aspect of songs rather than lyricality unless if it enhances the production. imo Idols don't necessarily have to release coperate ballads to express their raw emotion. There is this genre called soulful rnb, and that is real music as when kpop plays in alternative 90s rnb with slick production, it is so dynamic, emotional, and smooth. I don't agree that catchy K-pop songs mean they are good. That is not true. Sometimes, repetitive and vague lyrics are a hit or miss to me.

What I love about TWICE is that they never release a song based on just what's trendy. They release whatever they want and they release the music that they find is interesting. And they are genuinely the most genuine and wholesome groups I have ever stanned. The members' bond with each other and onces aren't conpareable to any others imo

I actually can not listen to this song or watch the video. It hits me so deeply. It's like they are finally saying goodbye to the old Twice. I know they are grown and have to move past the Twice that gave us TT, but it's just too much for me right now. I have STANd them since Sixteen aired and have never been disappointed. people often way too focus who should have more line and less line. they forgot how good Nayeon simply slay the first chorus, surprisingly Tzuyu sound so good too and they got distract by her stunning visual.

I’ve been listening to this song on repeat, it makes me cry because it reminds me of my one friend who moved away from me 2 years ago and she was the best one I had, I’ve had a lot of people talking bad about me and being genuinely mean and never apologizing but she was the only friend that I never talked bad about and she never talked bad about me because we had nothing bad to say about each other and i miss her soo much 😢🫶🏻
