- This is a beautiful and unique food that they have been making for 123 years! I have been walking the whole city six days a week in training for my upcoming pilgrimage in Europe. And , I had to stop in and get a couple of the delicious and amazing Hartley's Pork Pies.

Thanks, The walking is going excellent. Six days a week and a typical day for me now is about 4 hours. Cuts into my work time but, getting in shape!
Oh wow! I live in Boston, I never heard of these among the many culinary offerings of Fall River (well, of custard tarts and Chop Suey sandwiches). Those look tasty!

PA Amish meat pies, mainly chicken and beef, have the meat shredded or cut smaller. And they come in mini, little and big sizes. Mini is about the size you got, little is in a 6" foil pie plate and big is in a 8" foil pie plate. Other meats are used, pork, venison, squirrel, whatever. And all are good.
And yours look yummy.

i do that all the time... i get really hungry, so i buy a lot of food, then by the time i'm done with half of it, or less, i am full, so i gotta save it for later, or power through it lol

They look good! The French make a “Tourtiere” I think that’s how it’s spelled. It’s a Pork Pie, my Dad (being French) loved them 👍🏻

okay! I looked up Tourtiere and yes. very similar. This little bakery had that same kind of thing too. I have had them. It was an occasional special event meal for us growing up. Soooo good.
