I have met many "spiritual" people, attended Edgar Cayce teachings and the like, but let me tell you, that this guy is real, living in the here and now. So much love for his craft, in search of perfection through hard work. We are talking about a very old, and learned soul. Thank you Nik Rijavec!
I built my own house with my father, quit my job and took a year to finish it as none of us work in construction so it was a tricky project, i know exactly how you feel and the satisfaction of knowing you did that with your hands is priceless!!! You rock buddy enjoy every second of it

Especially the brilliant way you engineered getting those heavy logs up! May God bless you in the coming year and give you the desires of your heart. Forget the naysayers. You do you. I watched the yearly episodes but now have gone back and watched each individual episode. I started watching because the idea of building your own log home fascinated me. But I have actually appreciated your filming of the scenery of your country even more. It is truly beautiful. And your filming is great -- though sometimes when you are climbing the rocks on slippery snow, it is a little scary. Before watching your channel I had barely heard of your country (thanks to how little geography was taught when I was in school -- eons ago) but it makes me want to visit. Thank you for the magical ✨ walks you have taken us on. And having seen the finished home, even tho this comment is on the beginning of season 2, it is really gorgeous. The only thing I would have changed is to create a foundation between your cement pillars with some of those many rocks you have there. Stay safe.

As one carpenter to another your skills with the chain saw, grinder, chisels, and the thought that you put into this project is just crazy. Great job on using every knowledgeable of physics, cables, and knowing how to drop trees. I understand the 1,000's of hours that you are putting into this project. Be proud and hold your head up high. Your one in millions that have the ability to do the Fantastic job you are doing.
Greetings from Eugene, Oregon, USA. Very much enjoying your build. I must say I smiled when you two knocked the last, bottom logs out from the new door. It was one of those moments in a project that stand out - a highly visible sign of real progress. I hope you do not forget to put in your "appreciation" time at the end of each day of hard work and I wish you, your friend, and your families well into the new year.
Nice to meet you. I am Japanese. My name is Jota Inui. I was a teacher for 27 years, but I had a stroke and had to quit my beloved job. And now, I am creating woodwork art works using world heritage Yakusugi and sacred trees. I have a variety of disabilities due to cerebral infarction. The right face has pain from being cut with multiple kitchen knives. And the left lower leg was left with a disability that was burned by the gas burner. Except when I'm sleeping, I'm living in a living hell of intense pain. In that living hell of pain, I am creating fishing charms and woodwork art works using the world heritage Yakusugi and sacred trees. I watched your UA-cam and was deeply moved. Because you are challenging yourself with a very difficult task by yourself. And you are always working hard to make your dreams come true. Your home build is amazing. When I look at your house building, I feel that you are creating a work of art called a house. When I saw you working hard, my heart warmed and I thought that I had to work harder. Even though I am disabled, I have much to learn from your way of life. You are such a wonderful human being. I respect you with all my heart. And you give me the strength to survive. Sincerely thank. thank you very much. I look forward to your success. you are a really great human being.
God bless you, Nik, I had no idea until this video that you were in Slovenia. I lived there for two years after the war in Bosnia, doing missionary work, and I too was struck by the beauty of the country. I pray that you and your helpers will realize your dreams and find what you're looking for. It's so true that God is not so much in the details as He is in the heart, and when the heart is right, everything else falls into place.
Simply magnificent ... such a master builder and so young ... I hope you have lots of children in the future to pass on these super skills 😃 ... just ignore those armchair eco warriors who are probably live within a concrete jungle, taking holidays abroad, flushing their toilets more than a dozen times a day and couldn’t hammer a nail into a wall !!! ... your love and respect of nature is evident in what you are doing and needs no words of explanation ... just carry on inspiring us viewers ... wishing you love, light, health, happiness, positivity and peace from Ireland ... i'm a bit late to the game (i saw your one year video) but i went back and watched all your videos of the log cabin. i like these kind of videos a lot and you two do a great job :) greetings from austria
Enjoying the videos. Usually wouldn't ask for too much non-build content but I think a lot of people would love to see some segments with your dog. Keep up the good work.
As someone who is carpenter by trade - I have to say that I've learnt a lot from watching your videos. The work you do and the precision you do it with is absolutely impressive, I'd probably have a hard time to keep up with your skill, in all honesty. I am looking very much forward to your next videos. If you can give some info where you got your knowledge from and why you did certain things in the way you did them, that would be greatly appreciated. I am particularly interested in the corners and cuts you made on them.
Nik - My wish for you is that you will always continue to be you. That you will continue to let your spirit guide you in life and building your dreams. That you will continue to be an inspiration to all the dreamers in this world. That you will be able to continue to share your dreams with others. That your positive attitude will continue to grow and spread to others. That your outlook on life will be a blessing to others who need inspiration. You have brought joy, entertainment, excitement, encouragement, strength, humor to all of us as you make this journey. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Warm Regards, Randy in Arizona, USA
Working without plans...I know a man who gets stuff done like that. And here I am still planning a design of mine for a month, while he has created so many things. I make SO MANY mistakes when I go on a whim. I don't know how you do it, you're amazing!
For your last threaded rod problem, if you haven't already ran it through, I really wouldn't stress it too much with it being so close to the corner.. Plus, you already have one in that corner on the other side.. I'm sure by now with time and gravity on your side, it is probably drawn down enough... Keep up the great videos and looking forward to what's to follow.. :)
I respect your core beliefs and your admiration of nature's "plan" for perfection as it happens. Fantastic video and shared building with your friend. Many respects from USA.
You're truly an angel using the universe to guide you on this path. It's what you're meant to do. ❤️ So happy to see you finally have some help, knowledge is the ultimate legacy to pass on. Please take it easy, be patient and be safe. Thank you so much for all your dedication to us, your videos are simply stunning! I absolutely adore the nature walks. Work hard, play harder. Aloha 🤙 Mele Kalikimaka 🎄🎅🏻
Slovenia is a beautiful country. I would love to visit it someday. Exploring all the countries that border the Adriatic Sea would be such a treat. The beauty and history. I am really enjoying your work, God bless you.
I think you are building something amazing and I'm not just talking about your house. You remind me of my very pragmatic son. He too is an old soul. I'm thoroughly enjoying your videos Nik. Thank you for sharing your journey. 😎
Nik I’m glad you got all your threaded bolts in the walls to help lock the logs together tightly & more securely! The 2 concrete forms & footings looks great! That was a great idea to fill them in with rocks to make them much stronger 💪 ! On that doorway if it was my cabin I’d cut the doorway about 2 more inches bigger all way around the doorway. Then I’d get me some 2 inch thick X 10- 12 inch wide boards to frame around inside my doorway! It will sure make it a lot stronger & hold all those logs in place a lot better. And since you cut the door close to the corner you will need the extra strength to hold the weight of those logs. Look at the last episode of: “HICKORY RIDGE HOMESTEAD” on UA-cam. He has a recent episode called: ( Cutting a giant hole in my log cabin ). It’s where he cut the hole for his Log cabin door & he framed it in with extra thick & 10 inch wide Board’s. U may find this video helpful. 👍
THANK YOU SO MUCH as I was wondering why the log had been leaden down with stone's👍🏾 I knew that he aligned the inside length of a panel to run electrical cable though!! Lol EXCELLENT WORK NIK
Wow - no written plan - just creating as his right brain dreams - that's so awesome - kills the "left brainers" in their tracks - looks like not even one injury with all that lifting, cutting, sawing, measuring, dropping, and whatever else had to be done - daily labour like this would have us all looking like lean , mean fighting machines - obesity would be stopped in its tracks - thanks for all the inspiration Nik - really appreciate it
Hi Nik, Here in Canterbury UK, everyone is getting ready for the festivities of Christmas. I wish you a happy Christmas and good health for the coming year. Thanks again for sharing with us bed bound veterans your journey. You have no idea how your videos give me personally something to look forward to. Thanks again Trev.
Many many respect ✊ to you Nik! For showing us what we can do if we believe in our self.. work it day by day as it comes to you BROTHER blessings to you and the family. Have a merry Christmas 🎄 peace ✌️ out !!
Hey bud, if I were you I'd be careful to take all comments lightly whether good or bad... especially bad. People write things so flippantly online and often don't put much thought into how it will affect the person making the videos. Your mental and emotional strength is just as impressive to me as the physical! Keep up the positive attitude and the resolve to build your house with class and without complaint. Thanks again for documenting this!
So far this is one of my favorite log cabin builds on UA-cam I have ever watched and I have watched a lot of different builds for years now. This is fun to watch because it feels like more of a modern approach to building one which is nice to see after seeing so many built in a more rustic old school way. I would have sworn you had done this for a living at one point in your life because you have so many amazing tactics and tricks of the trade. Thanks for letting us come along on your build journey.
Beautiful country just a gorgeous place I love where your cabin is you're building a beautiful cabin I love the content much love from the states here in Detroit Michigan💪🎅MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅
Half the battle in making a straight cut is having a properly sharpened chain. If one side of the chains teeth are improperly sharpened or are dull the cut will start to wander off to one side
I love the Attitude you have in your Building! Following your heart is #1. I love the smell of wood so much that I can almost smell it as I watch you with your chainsaw. You have a great skill in handling that chainsaw and i know the constant work you do requires a lot of endurance. I happy to see you fulfill your Dream. I have worked with lumber for over 40 years but have never seen your type of skills. Great job! Wood products are the best! Keep using your ingenuity. Its a gift from your Creator. Ps: Your videos of the country and your surroundings are phenomenal. Congrats!!!
@Gabriel Davidson According to what Google Traductor says, it means: "I put a Portuguese translator for us to understand what they are talking about." Probably "what YOU are talking about" in this case. Like you said; Whatever...
Hello Nik! First time I came across your videos, was almost a year ago, but for some reason I didn't continue watching but now I am back and I am glad that I saw this now, becouse I think year ago your words wouldn't touch my heart as they do now. I am so happy to see and hear someone saying such words. You really do shine goodness around and you are very inspiring and extremely talented being with such a good and humble heart. I also come really stressed with plans and rules. We should just let life unfold how it wants without too much stress. What an awesome video again. So happy with this content! Absolutely amazing
Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents and building knowledge! The fortunate people who will come upon this place a hundred years from now will realize there were a few good people a century prior!
Rik (I don't know if Slovenian, Serbian or another country in the region) is a lumberjack, tractor driver, construction worker, carpenter, builder, architect and plastic artist, as well as a performance artist (the performance with his girlfriend was spectacular). Seeing the tangle with a thousand root ends, being transformed into a table, so beautiful, is to fill your eyes with tears of so much emotion. Your imagination has no limits. Each step of that ladder is a masterpiece that is a pity to have to step on it. The kitchen counter top is another dream of high joinery. I haven't been following him for a long time, but I've seen everything he's produced in terms of video. Rik is the kind of person we want to see produce something, whatever it is, it's going to be beautiful and spectacular.
Hey "The Outsider" god bless you and your family. Wish your wife god speed health care. Viewed your pop-up cabin. I showed my husband , we love it. How's your log cabin coming along. Oh by the way another viewer and I meet and had a blast talkin about your pop-up as well. Now back to Nick.... Awesome Job Nick!
I love watching your channel. I’ve never seen a log cabin built from the ground up. Very educational for me and all who watch. Thankyou for sharing your experience with all of us.
Nik! I have been watching your videos from the very beginning. I must say you are an amazing person and Slovenia should be proud of such men. To see you working is great fun and pleasure. I enjoy every moment of your videos. Apart from everything you are a real film star!
YOU HAVE PUT MANY HOURS OF HARD WORK AND LOVE INTO THIS CABIN AND YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. YOU HAVE MY UPMOST RESPECT FOR NEVER QUITTING . I HOPE THIS CABIN LAST SO YOUR GRAND CHILDERN CAN SEE WHAT YOU HAVE BUILT WITH YOUR OWN HANDS. YOU ARE AN INSPRATION TO ANY "DO IT YOUE SELFER"...
Nik, i have seen most of your inspiring video's. What you say in the last 5 minutes is great and let see your great hart for handy work with nature. Comments about the "civilised" world about a wast of wood and trees.............they don't no how a cabagge is growing!!!! Is that your son? You see his progression at all levels of life there. Thank you for share happiness with all of us. All the bests from Belgium.
Get a 25 mm wood bit ‘ weld it to the all thread ‘ weld 12 mm round to other end ‘ and away u go ‘ problem solved ‘ I know u know this already ‘ great looking cabin will last for many years
I've been to Slovenia and it's Paradise on Earth nature wise, a real Garden of Eden. The people are tough and rough but with a hidden tender and enormous heart inside. I don't think they like us (Italians) so much. I don't know why (maybe we did something really bad during WW2 but I'm too young to feel that weight on my soul) but I reckon that the noisy hedonistic average Italian can be tedious for pensive mountain people like Slovenian. Llubjana and Marburg are gorgeous (if you dribble the swarms of horny Italians on the prowl) Ski resorts and National parks are world class. But where I'm rambling??? Sorry...First of all big props for your work and ingenuity (never seen that cross crane arrangement of yours. It worked a charm!) and really envious for the spot where you built the house and its surroundings (those sunset-sunrises with mountains top popping out from the clouds are so beautiful that seemed CGI) Big props for not have played the omnipresent pet clickbait but a bit of doggy introduction-show has come (maybe you have already done it and I've missed it). Hope the time for the party for the roof completion comes soon and Merry Christmas and Happy new Year to you and your family and friends. Ciao.
Swiss Chalets, have the logs cut square, so that the sides are smooth. Seen same style in Austria too. The ribbed log cabin style I see more in North America, so I thought you were building in Canada or Alaska, somewhere along the Rockies. Sneaky Slovenian, you tricked me!
i must say Nik , you are a very good version of yourself from where im sitting ! people only put pressure on you if you allow them to , the reality we have is chosen by our cell-f . your doing amazing things here !
WOW!!!! I live in the mountains of the state of Tennessee in the United States and we have many log cabins in my area and I have never seen one as beautiful as this one is and it isn't even done yet. The craftmanship of the scribing and cutting is way above par. I love the music and the way you see life. Also, There is just something very satisfying about watching you peel bark in slomo. Merry christmas
Merry Christmas Nick. Your videos are something else. I grew up framing and building things and even though I’ve transitioned into earthmoving and excavation, I have an appreciation for nature and using nature to build things. You’re videos are like candy to me. I love the incredible amounts of work you take to build things with nothing more than your hands and simple tools and lost construction methods. I love your attention to detail. Also you gave credit to the Creator of all the beauty around us and that made these videos so much more meaningful to me. Thanks for what you’ve been doing, it’s really great.
We had the chance to make a stopover in Slovenia a few years ago, and we also really appreciated this country. A country that I found very wooded and very warm.
All of what help? I have only seen two or three guys assist the guy, aside from the girl who appears to be his girlfriend. Haven’t you ever helped a friend without wanting anything in return? Just look/consider the guys demeanor/personality in all of his videos. He comes across as a guy who has probably done a lot for those around him. I’m actually surprised that he does not have more friends coming over to assist him.
Depends If you have your own land where to Gather The logs. Im not too sure, but my guess is around $60K if you buy the logs. Dont quote me on this :) Piece of land must be the most expensive part.
I am a builder retired now, and I don't know if I would have the patience to do what you created here so far. I commend you for your ingenious ways to accomplish impossible tasks in the right order of building something like this that will last at least 100 yrs. if not more. Great work and I hope you are getting enough rest during this time you are taking in building a place that will be one of a kind. Congratulations!
Like your mindset...refreshing. Sunshine is always close or just on the other side of the weather, which only makes us appreciate more. Life is but an adventure of experiences.
Hi Nic, greetings from the South Island of New Zealand, This my friend is why the internet was invented. I am two months into my own build and are so inspired by your efforts. Thanks so much for sharing, I'm really loving it and wish you all the best for 2020 and your build. Don Scott
@@jjnenova2748 Why Thankyou JJ, Its going to take some time but Ive already built a log home playhouse and have it all sorted in my head. Im lucky because I have a wonderful old(120+) lathe that I have turned all my wall and roof poles on and I will enable things to be much easier(ie: no scribing) and an authentic looking project. Don't you just love Nic's efforts.
Dear Sir No words strong enough to express my admirations for your genius and humble perseverance while working on this piece of art. Be Blessed Sir Nik

I doubt he "forgot" to sign their names: one doesn't find such vanity as that in construction until modern times. I dis-like seeing such vanity.

Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and hard work with us .i enjoy watching every minute. Thank you again.
What you have done is astonishing. Not only that, but you are also a very valuable human being and deserves our admiration and recognition.
Thank you for your words, I feel humbled and thanks for watching!
Maximum respect. To see that a Man build a House by his own hand is ubelivable.
Shaun Peahu mele freaking kalikimaka ❤️
Slovenia is a beautiful country. I would love to visit it someday. Exploring all the countries that border the Adriatic Sea would be such a treat. The beauty and history. I am really enjoying your work, God bless you.
love the shaking trees part !! amazing, Never let go of the Child inside us!
Look at the last episode of:
“HICKORY RIDGE HOMESTEAD” on UA-cam. He has a recent episode called: ( Cutting a giant hole in my log cabin ). It’s where he cut the hole for his Log cabin door & he framed it in with extra thick & 10 inch wide Board’s. U may find this video helpful. 👍
In this way the foundations are done in Balkan but we do not build wood houses Concrete and building blocks
THANK YOU SO MUCH as I was wondering why the log had been leaden down with stone's👍🏾 I knew that he aligned the inside length of a panel to run electrical cable though!! Lol EXCELLENT WORK NIK
He did Great. I'm watching it now.
Wow - no written plan - just creating as his right brain dreams - that's so awesome - kills the "left brainers" in their tracks - looks like not even one injury with all that lifting, cutting, sawing, measuring, dropping, and whatever else had to be done - daily labour like this would have us all looking like lean , mean fighting machines - obesity would be stopped in its tracks - thanks for all the inspiration Nik - really appreciate it
Hi Nik,
Here in Canterbury UK, everyone is getting ready for the festivities of Christmas. I wish you a happy Christmas and good health for the coming year. Thanks again for sharing with us bed bound veterans your journey.
You have no idea how your videos give me personally something to look forward to. Thanks again
Trev.
I envy you young Man. You are building a legacy that your grandchildren’s grandchildren will enjoy and be grateful for.
Many many respect ✊ to you Nik! For showing us what we can do if we believe in our self.. work it day by day as it comes to you BROTHER blessings to you and the family. Have a merry Christmas 🎄 peace ✌️ out !!
Working with brothers (or men you look upon as brothers) is very satisfying. You are a wonderful builder.
Finally caught up with the videos. This series has been really interesting. Keep up the good work and have a happy new housebuilding year!
Don’t you ever change from pressure!!! I enjoy watching your progress and I appreciate your dedication! Keep up the good work and never EVER change!
Wow Slovenia truly is a beatiful place. I would have guessed northern Europe. Much love from Colorado.
We love watching your progress! This is going to be so amazing when it’s finished! We look forward to seeing it 😀
So far this is one of my favorite log cabin builds on UA-cam I have ever watched and I have watched a lot of different builds for years now.
I'm in the UP. I helped my family build a log home. We started in 84 and moved in 91.
I will always leave a comment because you are genuinely a humble, talented
and inspiring person
Respect how you handle that chainsaw, when I see you doing it this way it seems very easy to saw straight!
You have a great
skill in handling that chainsaw and i know the constant work you do requires a lot of endurance. I happy to see you fulfill your Dream. I have worked with lumber for over 40 years but have never seen your type of skills. Great job! Wood products are the best! Keep using your ingenuity. Its a gift from your Creator. Ps: Your videos of the country and your surroundings are phenomenal. Congrats!!!
Merry christmas everybody
humbug!!! lol jk

According to what Google Traductor says, it means: "I put a Portuguese translator for us to understand what they are talking about."
Probably "what YOU are talking about" in this case.
Like you said; Whatever...

Well, I just lit up a huge joint!

WOW! That sounds a lot like what a "James Bond" type fellow would would say. Well go for it.
Thank you for you words and for watching!
A doorway! 😁👍🏽. Its a definite home now😁. Happy everything to you and your family Nic. xxx
What a stunning location wow . Great work Nik and friend you will get many years of happiness from that place good for you .
UA-cam at it’s finest!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents and building knowledge! The fortunate people who will come upon this place a hundred years from now will realize there were a few good people a century prior!
That roof is becoming a beautiful dancing floor under the stars.
Absolutely beautiful build Nik! Thanks for sharing it with us. Merry Christmas my friend.
This is so peaceful thank u brother bc im going to build my house to except im doing wooden pegs to hold it together
@@angelaabbs8337 mmmmmm
He doesn't like Christmas
It is great you share your skills and vision and your parents and grandparents should be proud of such a good man they have!
Love the wheelbarrow stunt.... Do it with full one :DD :P ...
I love watching your channel. I’ve never seen a log cabin built from the ground up. Very educational for me and all who watch. Thankyou for sharing your experience with all of us.
Ive really enjoyed your final speach. Thanks!
Nik! I have been watching your videos from the very beginning. I must say you are an amazing person and Slovenia should be proud of such men. To see you working is great fun and pleasure. I enjoy every moment of your videos. Apart from everything you are a real film star!
Nice 👍
YOU HAVE PUT MANY HOURS OF HARD WORK AND LOVE INTO THIS CABIN AND YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. YOU HAVE MY UPMOST RESPECT FOR NEVER QUITTING . I HOPE THIS CABIN LAST SO YOUR GRAND CHILDERN CAN SEE WHAT YOU HAVE BUILT WITH YOUR OWN HANDS. YOU ARE AN INSPRATION TO ANY "DO IT YOUE SELFER"...
...GREAT VID..A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS...
Get a 25 mm wood bit ‘ weld it to the all thread ‘ weld 12 mm round to other end ‘ and away u go ‘ problem solved ‘ I know u know this already ‘ great looking cabin will last for many years
*decades :)
Could even just cut some slots using an angle grinder into the end of the threaded rod and chuck it up in a decent drill.
ua-cam.com/video/EQNrt7sRlCM/v-deo.html
(cut in cross end of steel bar, do a drill)
in alp its one century for well done small cabin, "mazot" or also called "tresor"
200 years plus. The roof will be the deciding factor. Probably as the rest of this build. Tough as a granite boulder.
Nik you are wise beyond your years and your grandfathers, should they be here or in heaven, are smiling. Great work all the best from Montana, USA.
Ciao.
My friend & I have been watching you build your log cabin. You are doing a wonderful job. We enjoy watching you very much. Thank you. Linda & Beverly
Yesss!! A new episode😲😃
Very satisfying. We are all blessed that you have chosen to share your journey. Thank you.
WildWestNeko I agree . I thought the same seen that kind of round long cabin in USA or Canada never Slovenia
i must say Nik , you are a very good version of yourself from where im sitting ! people only put pressure on you if you allow them to , the reality we have is chosen by our cell-f . your doing amazing things here !
"Drake... where's the door handle?"
APPLAUSE TO THIS MAN!
Several times this episode I found myself saying "There goes the camera".
We had the chance to make a stopover in Slovenia a few years ago, and we also really appreciated this country.
A country that I found very wooded and very warm.
man you have some good friends to give you all that help! Are you building his cabin next?
All of what help? I have only seen two or three guys assist the guy, aside from the girl who appears to be his girlfriend. Haven’t you ever helped a friend without wanting anything in return? Just look/consider the guys demeanor/personality in all of his videos. He comes across as a guy who has probably done a lot for those around him. I’m actually surprised that he does not have more friends coming over to assist him.
I don’t know why your videos are so restful to me, but I watch every one and anticipate each new one. I am learning so much from you!
And here I thought we had rocky ground here in British Columbia, Canada.
I LOVE CANADA!!
You will be able to have a major bonfire to celebrate when you are finished. Beautiful work.
How much money do you have to have to do this?
This doesn’t seem like anyone could just up and do this.
Thoughts?
Depends If you have your own land where to Gather The logs.
Im not too sure, but my guess is around $60K if you buy the logs.
Dont quote me on this :)
Piece of land must be the most expensive part.
Hes also been doing thos for 2 years I think
His family owned the land, now it's his, if you watched first episodes you would know he got all of those logs done himself.

Hi Nic, greetings from the South Island of New Zealand, This my friend is why the internet was invented.
I am two months into my own build and are so inspired by your efforts.
Thanks so much for sharing, I'm really loving it and wish you all the best for 2020 and your build.
Don Scott
Don Scott the best of luck with your building too Don
@@jjnenova2748 Why Thankyou JJ, Its going to take some time but Ive already built a log home playhouse and have it all sorted in my head. Im lucky because I have a wonderful old(120+) lathe that I have turned all my wall and roof poles on and I will enable things to be much easier(ie: no scribing) and an authentic looking project.
Don't you just love Nic's efforts.
