Good info. I always reccomend your channel when someone asks me for info. You do so much better than I do at explaining things.

I tell you it would be so freakin cool to get out and shoot with you, the knowledge you have is so valuable. You and your wife have kept me inspired to keep shrinking my groups and extending my distance! Thank you!!

Thanks Mark. I do like bench-rest shooting. I watched the older version of this video and learnt a lot that I put into practice but I learnt more from this video. I think I have absorbed more this time. I really appreciate what you do and how you so unselfishly share your knowledge and skills.

Good presentation...that got me questioning my current squeeze bag.

Mark, I carry a light bag made of kangaroo leather I got from the tongue of an old worn out pair of upland game hunting boots I couldn't get resoled again. It gives me some extra grip between the stock and the bag which seems to allow my rear stock to settle into it. It's also very quiet, which is good to keep game from spooking and was a great asset on my Dall Sheep hunt years ago. Really enjoy watching your videos when I get a chance.

Excellent as always! I'll be getting one of your adjustable bag bases in the future, but hadn't realized I "needed" one until after I'd already put my order in with Santa (and she already acted on my order). 🙂 and 👍👍.

Good info thanks Mark. If consistent density of the rear bag is potentially the issue, then what about a system that uses something solid that will not compress - say rollers or bearings for your steel bag rider to sit on? Be interested to know if you have tried something like this? Cheers.

Thanks Man, and well, you have other details to consider, like vibration transfer, harmonics, etc, I stick with what I found works, you are of course welcome to test....... Cheers

Hi!Congratulations for the channel! I wanted to ask you for advice. I'm practicing shooting without a sandbag but with bipod. with the sandbag at 300 m I make groups of 0.3 MOA but without the sandbag the shots go to the right or top right. without the sandbag i adjust the lifting of the rifle with nonshooting hand by clenching or releasing the fist, I let the weight of the head fall on the cheekpad and with the firing hand I press back towards the shoulder but in this conditions the reticle is not always stable on the target, what am I wrong in your opinion? maybe i make too backward pressure with shooting hand or too downward pressure with cheeck? In some manual of long range shooting is advised not to pull the butt of the rifle towards the shoulder with the firing hand but it is advisable to load the bipod by pressing forward with the toes to fit the rifle between the pipod and the shoulder. there is a bit of confusion, what is the correct technique? thank you so much

Good info, thanks. I bought one of your bag bases last week because i'd came to the same conclusion in my quest for better groups.
Now i'd like to know your thoughts on bipod feet. Rubber, spiked or skis? Is it better to go with something that can slide or something that holds it's position?
