All of the girls' auditions were good, star-quality good, but Nia's was off the chain fabulous! Her audition seemed unrehearsed, natural, realistic. She drew us into the scene and we willingly went along for the ride. She ia a natural! Go Nia!
Kelly and Christi were the only moms who helped defend Nia. I honestly couldn't even watch the show after both left and only kept watching for Holly and Nia, but it's painful to watch them with no allies on the show.

I absolutely freaking LOVE Holly. She was always one of my favorites if not my favorite. She is always looking after the kids. The fact that nobody else said anything in front of her speaks volumes. I’m a professional actor and we are always told to “make interesting choices” and be different. If 50 people come in the audition room and do it exactly the same then no one stands out. Making interesting choices and being different, digging deeper into the character, THATS what makes you stand out.

I'm so glad the guy who brought Nia in/introduced her stood up for her against Abby by saying that they look for the person who does the character *differently*. I absolutely freaking LOVE Holly. She was always one of my favorites if not my favorite. She is always looking after the kids. The fact that nobody else said anything in front of her speaks volumes. Nia is seriously the most brave and strong little girl. I wouldn’t have been able to stand there and take that without crying. Her momma raised her right.
I’m a professional actor and we are always told to “make interesting choices” and be different. If 50 people come in the audition room and do it exactly the same then no one stands out. Making interesting choices and being different, digging deeper into the character, THATS what makes you stand out.

Well, not a doctor degree. Doctorate degree of Education to be exact. Still incredibly difficult to get. Requires a lot, and I mean a LOT, of dedication. So when they say Dr. Holly it's not so much of saying she's a doctor, she cannot do anything medically. It's a title. One she earned through hard work. So it's used as a noun in this case.
But yes, I'm not sure what Abby was getting at there. If Nia is even a fraction of what Holly is like she will get very far in life.
